We tried Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries and Monster Loaded Fries at Brick or Treat 2026, plus a list of every other limited-time treat at Legoland Florida this fall.

Halloween at Legoland Florida Resort isn’t exactly the fog-machine-and-screaming variety, but the food this season still demands your attention (and your appetite). We spent an afternoon at Brick or Treat, the park’s family-friendly Halloween celebration, and made a beeline for two of the season’s signature savory-meets-sweet treats: the Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries and the Monster Loaded Fries. Here is everything you need to know before you go, including whether these particular items are worth the surprisingly steep price tag.

What Is Legoland Florida Brick or Treat 2026?

Brick or Treat transforms Legoland Florida into what the park calls Mischief Town, and it runs on select dates from September 5 through October 31, 2026. This year’s lineup is the biggest yet, with 18 total event days (up from 12 last year) and the brand-new Brick or Treat Street, an interactive neighborhood of life-sized LEGO Monster homes belonging to Wacky Witch, Wolf Guy, Spider Lady, Mummy, Plant Monster, and Scarecrow. Add in the returning Monster Skytacular drone show (only in October), the Potion Mischief Light Trail, and classic neighborhood-style trick-or-treating, and there is a full day (and night) of things to do before you even think about food.

The event dates are as follows:

• September: 5-6, 12, 19, 26
• October: 3-4, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, 30-31

Brick or Treat itself is included with regular theme park admission and eligible annual passes, so there is no separate ticket to buy. Legoland Florida spread its Halloween menu across eight locations this year, so you will want to map out your stops if you are hoping to sample everything. Here is the complete lineup, all available on official Brick or Treat event days only:

Since these items are scattered across the park rather than clustered in one spot, treat sampling like its own mini scavenger hunt. Pace yourself between rides, the Potion Mischief Light Trail, and the trick-or-treat stations (open 2 to 7 p.m. on event days), and you can realistically work your way through a good chunk of this list in one visit.

The Main Event: Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries and Monster Loaded Fries

Out of the eight seasonal offerings, we zeroed in on the two heaviest hitters, literally, for this review. Both are big, both are shareable, and both come with a built-in souvenir.

Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries — Granny’s Apple Fries

Granny’s Apple Fries are already something of a Legoland Florida institution, and the Halloween makeover leans into that reputation instead of reinventing it. The base is the same warm, cinnamon-sugar-dusted apple fries the park is known for, now topped with a generous swirl of pumpkin pie soft serve, crumbled oatmeal raisin cookies, and a scattering of autumn-colored sprinkles.

The result tastes exactly like it sounds, and that is a compliment. As expected, the apple fries hold their warmth and texture nicely underneath the ice cream. Also, the pumpkin pie flavor is noticeably spiced rather than just “orange and vague.” The oatmeal raisin cookie portions add a nice bit of chew against all that soft serve. It is a genuinely solid seasonal dessert, and it earns its spot near the top of most “best Halloween treats at Legoland” conversations.

The catch: Soft serve and Florida heat are not friends. Even in the relatively short walk from the register to a shaded table, our scoop had already started sliding into the apple fries below it. If you are planning to snap a photo for the family group chat, do it fast; and if you are splitting this one, don’t let it sit around while everyone finishes their turn on Brick or Treat Street first.

Monster Loaded Fries — Dragon’s Den

Over at Dragon’s Den, the savory side of the seasonal menu gets its own showcase with the Monster Loaded Fries. Thick-cut twisted fries arrive under pulled pork, melted cheddar, charred corn, crispy fried onions, a black garlic aioli, and a scattering of fresh green onions. It is a hearty, messy, fork-and-napkins kind of dish, closer to a shareable entree than a snack.

Flavor-wise, this one delivers. The black garlic aioli adds a savory depth that keeps the dish from tasting like a one-note pulled pork pile, the charred corn brings some welcome sweetness and crunch, and the crispy onions do exactly what crispy onions are supposed to do. Nothing about it feels like a throwaway seasonal gimmick. It eats like a fry dish the park would happily sell in July.

The catch: There is no real urgency to seek this one out. It is a good plate of loaded fries, full stop, but not a must-race-across-the-park item the way some Legoland seasonal specialties can be. If Monster Loaded Fries happens to be near wherever you already are, order it. If it is on the far side of the park and you are choosing between it and something else on this list, it is fine to let it slide.

A Note on Pricing and Those Collectible Containers

Here is the part that will actually change how you budget your Brick or Treat food stops: both the Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries and the Monster Loaded Fries ring up at $19.49 each. That is a lot of money for fries, and we will not pretend otherwise.

The price tag includes more than just the food. Both dishes are served inside a souvenir LEGO Minifigure head, the Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries in a Pumpkin Minifigure Head and the Monster Loaded Fries in a Zombie Minifigure Head. That collectible container is baked directly into the cost. No cheaper ‘just give me the food in a regular basket’ option is available. If you are hoping to save a few dollars by skipping the souvenir cup strategy, this is not the menu for it; the container comes standard, whether you want it or not.

If you are already a collector of Legoland’s seasonal Minifigure heads, that changes the math considerably, since you are effectively paying one price for a snack and a keepsake. However, if you are simply hungry and were expecting a $6 basket of apple fries, be ready for some sticker shock at the register.

Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries: Should You Try Them?

Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries: Yes, and sooner rather than later. It is a strong seasonal dessert built on a fan-favorite Legoland classic, but the soft serve does not wait for anyone, so eat it quickly rather than saving it for later in your visit.

Monster Loaded Fries: Also yes, with less urgency. It is a satisfying savory option and a good group snack, but it will not be the thing your family talks about on the drive home.

Both: Budget for the $19.49 price point on each, remember the collectible Minifigure head container is mandatory rather than optional, and consider splitting one of each between two people so you can also leave room for the Broomstick Berry Shake, Spider Slush, or Franken Slice elsewhere in the park.
