Primo Piatto rates very high in terms of quick service at Walt Disney World. During a recent visit to Epcot, we took a break for lunch outside the park. Since Disney’s Riviera Resort is just a quick Disney Skyliner ride away from Epcot, dining at Primo Piatto made perfect sense.
We went to enjoy the Spicy Italian Sandwich there. On the Primo Piatto menu, this falls in the Cold Sandwiches category. It features sliced capicola, salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, vegetable giardiniera, and mayonnaise. This will also present guests with a more robust Italian vinegar-type component, which is not explicitly listed in the menu description. Some guests voice that this sandwich tastes “bready.” That critique offers merit, but with the robust flavors inside, most guests do not mind.
It costs $12.49 and comes with a side. We suggest the salad. If you order this as a dine-in option, the side salad deserves praise for the portion size and freshness.
