A few days ago, Walt Disney World announced that a new snack, Pretzel Nuggets, was coming to Epcot’s World Showcase. This latest treat is located at Block & Hans in the American Adventure area of the World Showcase. Block & Hans primarily sells beer products, so adding these Pretzel Nuggets makes sense.

At the time of writing, a menu description does not appear on Walt Disney World’s website. However, we visited Epcot to try this new snack to get all the details.

Pretzel Nuggets at Block & Hans – $8.50

Well, the menu description on the small sign at Block & Hans states that guests receive pretzel nuggets with house-made beer-cheese sauce. That menu description lacks much style, but it succinctly explains this new snack.

During our visit to Epcot, we noticed plenty of Pretzel Nuggets in the warmer at Block & Hans, ready for guests to purchase. This concerned us regarding overall quality.

However, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised by this snack. Even though guests get about eight nuggets, the flavor of the Pretzel Nuggets should satisfy most guests. We found the Pretzel Nuggets soft, avoiding the tendency for pretzel items to get hard in the warmer.

Also, the beer-cheese sauce tasted far better than the standard Walt Disney World plastic cheese. Though this sauce would not compare to your local bar and grill’s beer cheese, it worked well with the nuggets.

Based on our initial experience with this snack, we can recommend it for guests looking for a simple snack to keep anyone in your travel party from becoming cranky due to hunger. The Pretzel Nuggets will not change the world in terms of snacks, but they impressed our group when we tried them. Also, we enjoyed seeing Walt Disney World offer a better style of cheese with its theme park snacks.
