Our review of the Panda Express Sirloin Steak at Universal CityWalk Orlando highlights this flavorful wok-fired entrée and why it’s a great quick meal option for park visitors.

Panda Express at Universal CityWalk Orlando is a go-to for guests who want fast, familiar comfort food before or after a day in the parks. It offers American-Chinese cuisine, with menu staples including The Original Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, and Honey Walnut Shrimp, alongside rice and chow mein sides. On our latest visit, we tried the Panda Express Sirloin Steak, one of the chain’s premium wok-fired dishes that adds a hearty, flavorful twist to the usual menu lineup.
Please note that some entrees may not be available at this location. Additionally, the entree price may be higher than at your local Panda Express. Guests can use the Panda Express website or mobile app to mobile order at this location. It is considered a budget-friendly and convenient dining option within Universal CityWalk Orlando, making it a good choice for families or guests seeking a fast meal. However, Panda Express tends to reside lower on many guests’ lists since it is a chain available in many cities nationwide.

We ordered the small entrée portion ($6.90), which merely serves as a snack. However, we had several full entrees to eat at other dining locations during this visit to Universal Orlando Resort. Larger portions are also available for guests who are hungrier or those looking to share. We also ordered a diet soft drink. Our entrée came with a fortune cookie, which tasted like an average fortune cookie. Our fortune read: “A mystery of life will be solved with a smile!”
Panda Express Sirloin Steak Review at Universal CityWalk Orlando

The steak was tender and seared nicely, picking up that signature Panda Express caramelized flavor. The black pepper sauce added just the right amount of heat, spicy enough to be interesting without overwhelming the dish. Guests avoiding food with a spicy kick should skip this one. However, fans of spicy food will want a bit more spice with this one.
The entrée came tossed with vibrant bell peppers and crisp onions, giving it a colorful, fresh touch. Each bite combined the savory steak, the crunch of the vegetables, and the peppery sauce for a balanced and satisfying flavor profile. We were surprised by the percentage of steak within the entree – in a good way! However, the broccoli tasted just average. Still, this entree makes a better choice than anything currently served at Comic Strip Cafe.
For anyone dining at Universal CityWalk Orlando, the Panda Express Sirloin Steak is a smart pick if you’re craving something a little more substantial than the usual orange chicken. It’s freshly cooked, packed with flavor. While the small serving hit the spot, we’d gladly upgrade to a larger version next time.

Overall, the Panda Express Sirloin Steak proves that this fast-casual favorite can deliver wok-fired depth and quality even in the heart of a bustling theme park district. Guests can find Panda Express in the second-floor food court area at Universal CityWalk Orlando. This area also features Moe’s Southwest and aa Burger King Whopper Bar.
Don’t forget about the upcoming limited-time Crispy Sesame Shrimp & Beef, arriving at Panda Express on October 8. For more theme park dining reviews, visit MSM News every weekday at noon Eastern Time. As always, eat like you mean it!
