What is the City Works Eatery & Pour House Chef Selects menu?

The City Works Eatery & Pour House Chef Selects menu is a rotating collection of limited-time dishes that showcase the creativity of the restaurant’s culinary team. Available at City Works locations, including the popular spot at Disney Springs, this special menu highlights seasonal flavors, global inspirations, and chef-driven twists on comfort food favorites. Unlike the regular menu, which features a wide range of American classics and pub-style fare, the Chef Selects menu changes throughout the year (usually every eight weeks), giving guests something new to look forward to with each visit.

Past offerings have included unique burgers, inventive appetizers, and elevated takes on familiar dishes, often designed to pair with City Works’ extensive craft beer lineup. For Disney Springs visitors, the Chef Selects menu makes a great way to experience something fresh and exclusive, like the current Oktoberfest Burger Disney Springs and Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls.

As of September 10, City Works Eatery & Pour House Disney Springs unveiled the new Chef Selects menu items. City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs is a go-to for craft beer and hearty gastropub bites. This fall, the restaurant has rolled out new seasonal creations on its rotating Chef Selects menu. The spotlight item is the Oktoberfest Burger Disney Springs, which guests can now order. Alongside it, you’ll also find the flavorful Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls, giving diners two bold new reasons to stop by.

Oktoberfest Burger Disney Springs: A Fall Feast on a Pretzel Bun ($21.95)

The star of the new lineup is the Oktoberfest Burger Disney Springs visitors will love digging into. Built on a juicy beef patty, the burger is layered with smoked provolone, sliced sausage, beer-braised onions, bacon-braised sauerkraut, and a tangy cider ale mustard, all stacked on a chewy pretzel bun.

As you might imagine, this burger qualifies as the potentially messy type. In other words, this will quickly become a fork-and-knife burger. Still, we were not mad about that. Every bite balances smoky, savory, and tangy flavors that feel tailor-made for fall dining. It’s served with house fries or a side salad, but guests can swap in crispy tater tots for $1 or a cup of soup for $2. City Works also ensures inclusivity: gluten-free and vegan buns are available, and an Impossible Burger can be substituted for $2, making their burgers a great option for plant-based or gluten-sensitive diners.

Guests who enjoy burgers, mustard, and sauerkraut will love this burger. Our group thought it had too much sauerkraut in combination with the onions. In fairness, City Works Eatery & Pour House warns diners that it is an Oktoberfest Burger. Thus, those flavors should be expected. Those distinct German flavors pair very well with the pretzel bun.

The Oktoberfest Burger Disney Springs presents guests with a nice twist on standard American bar and grill cuisine. Additionally, it costs $21.95, which, for Walt Disney World, counts as a good table service value.

Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls: A Shareable Twist ($15.45)

Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls

While the burger is the main attraction, the Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls are a standout appetizer. These crispy golden rolls are stuffed with smoked brisket, Swiss cheese, and bacon-braised sauerkraut, then served with two sauces: spicy cider ale mustard aioli and smoky chipotle thousand island dressing.

Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls

We found the bacon-braised sauerkraut less robust with the egg rolls than with the Oktoberfest Burger. Also, in fairness, personal preference will determine if you dip the egg rolls in the mustard aioli or the smoky chipotle sauce. In fact, you might prefer them without the sauces at all. Based on the nature of these Smoked Brisket Reuben Egg Rolls, all three options are possible.

Crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor, they’re ideal for sharing at the table. Each order comes with six egg roll portions, making it more shareable. Of course, guests could keep them all to themselves with a craft beer from City Works’ extensive tap list.
