New Holiday Tracks Coming to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Saving the galaxy calls for a great soundtrack—and a little holiday cheer! New holiday tracks are coming to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and I’ve been suggesting “Christmas Wrapping” since Cosmic first celebrated the holidays. Now, how cool would it be to add Run-DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis” to the mix? Consider this me officially willing that into future existence. Your move, Star-Lord!

Please sing the following to the tune of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree: “Rockin’ around the galaxy, it’s a happy holiday!“

Why did I begin this blog with such a galactically festive start, you may ask? I’ll tell you – from November 25 through January 6, 2027 at EPCOT, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will give guests the opportunity to defend the galaxy to the tune of three holiday songs.

Seasonal Songs

The holiday season is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World – across the resort, holiday décor, limited-time offerings, tasty seasonal treats, and holiday overlays are a gift the whole family can unwrap to enjoy together. At EPCOT, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays runs November 27 through December 30 to bring the traditions of global holidays to visitors. And in 2026, you’ll have an additional way to celebrate the holidays at EPCOT – at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

This year, you’ll have the opportunity to get festive with three different seasonal songs shuffled to create a fresh experience for every ride. Check out the rockin’ holiday tracks you may hear November 25-January 6, 2027, on the attraction!

• “Chrismas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
• “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Inside the World Discovery neighborhood at EPCOT, the Wonders of Xandar pavilion introduces park visitors to the culture and technology of the Xandarian people – but that culture exchange goes both ways. Hero of Xandar Star-Lord, a Terran himself who once visited EPCOT as a kid, is quick to share his own love of earthly rock ‘n’ roll music.

Once it’s about time for the guests to save the galaxy from the latest threat (of course, it is about time. Have you not been paying attention?) the action is accompanied by one of six rockin’ songs. Each track gives its own vibe to the galaxy-saving experience, bringing the attraction to life in a way perfectly suited to the quirky humor and heart of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Outside of the holiday season, the save-the-galaxy soundtrack includes six songs from Terran musicians:

• “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire
• “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps
• “Conga” by Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine
• “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears
• “I Ran (So Far Away)” by A Flock of Seagulls
• “One Way or Another” by Blondie
