To help inspire fans to take part, Olympic gold medalist and figure skating icon Tara Lipinski is teaming up with DQ to encourage fans nationwide to enjoy a Blizzard Treat while giving back to children and families in their own communities.
“I’m honored to partner with Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day and help shine a light on the incredible work happening at children’s hospitals across the country,” said Tara Lipinski. “It’s amazing that something as simple as enjoying a Blizzard Treat can help provide hope and support to kids and their families. I hope everyone joins me on July 30 to make every Blizzard Treat count.”
Savannah Bananas Helping Out With Miracle Treat Day

This year, DQ has also tapped the Savannah Bananas to help spread smiles on and off the field. Known for bringing joy to fans of all ages, the Bananas are encouraging their passionate fanbase to join the celebration and support children and families through Miracle Treat Day.

“The Savannah Bananas are all about creating smiles, and Miracle Treat Day is another great way to bring joy and hope to families who need it most,” said right fielder Reese Alexiades. “After visiting a Children’s Miracle Network hospital and seeing so many brave kids and their families, it reminded us how powerful communities can be and something as simple as purchasing a Blizzard Treat on Miracle Treat Day can help make a real difference,” said center fielder David “DR” Meadows.
Dairy Queen Continues Partnership with Children’s Mioracle Network
Since partnering with Children’s Miracle Network over 40 years ago, the DQ system has helped raise more than $195 million to help provide critical care, treatments and services for children and families in local communities.
“Every year, Miracle Treat Day demonstrates the incredible impact that can happen when our communities come together for a sweet cause,” said Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “Year after year, our fans, franchisees and partners show up to support Children’s Miracle Network to help ensure kids and families receive the care and hope they deserve. We’re grateful to have Tara Lipinski and the Savannah Bananas helping us spread the word about Miracle Treat Day and encourage fans across the country to enjoy a Blizzard Treat while making a meaningful difference for local children’s hospitals.”
Fans can support Miracle Treat Day by visiting a participating U.S. location on July 30 and purchasing any Blizzard Treat. Every qualifying purchase helps support local children’s hospitals and the care they provide through Children’s Miracle Network.
