Guests can solve the interactive Great Wax Heist Halloween mystery at Madame Tussauds Orlando this October, included free with regular admission.

A woman with curly hair stands by a wooden shelf holding a painter's palette, brushes, a document labeled Deed, and a stack of books in a library.

Spooky season in the Orlando area offers some impressive options for entertainment. This includes, but is not limited to, Howl-O-Scream Orlando, Halloween Horror Nights, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Halloween fans and sleuths alike have an all-new experience to add to their October itinerary. Running daily from October 1 through October 31, 2026, Madame Tussauds Orlando is introducing The Great Wax Heist, a limited-time interactive Halloween scavenger hunt included with standard admission. The event challenges visitors to assist the attraction’s archives after priceless, centuries-old figure-making tools mysteriously vanish from the collection.

“The Great Wax Heist gives guests a fun new way to experience Madame Tussauds Orlando,” said Paul Gould, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Orlando. “As they work together to solve the mystery, they’ll also discover the remarkable craftsmanship and centuries-old techniques behind our iconic wax figures. It’s an interactive Halloween experience that combines mystery, history and discovery.”

Guests will utilize their smartphones to scan QR codes placed strategically throughout the venue. By cracking puzzles and analyzing clues, participants will track down five missing artifacts lost in the attraction.

Along the way, each clue reveals historical context behind the sculpting and molding methods pioneered over 250 years ago by Marie Tussaud herself. The interactive hunt links historical techniques directly to the lifelike wax figures of modern pop culture icons, athletes, and celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Simu Liu, and Jeff Goldblum.
