Krispy Kreme is preparing to rotate its limited-time doughnut lineup again with a new collection set to arrive at participating locations on Tuesday.. The September 22 release comes at a particularly busy time for Krispy Kreme, which has been moving through a steady stream of seasonal and limited-time offerings. The next Krispy Kreme release is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, bringing another limited-time option to participating shops. Krispy Kreme is giving fans a new reason to make their fall doughnut run even sweeter with the debut of all-new Churro Doughnut Dots. This poppable, shareable treats are made with Krispy Kreme’s signature light and airy dough, tossed in cinnamon sugar and paired with a delicious dulce de leche dipping sauce. Each order of Churro Doughnut Dots includes eight cinnamon sugar-coated Doughnut Dots served with a rich dulce de leche dipping sauce for dipping and dunking.

“Churro Doughnut Dots are such a fun way to bring a little extra sweetness to fall,” said Alison Holder, Chief Product and Brand Officer at Krispy Kreme. “They start with our proprietary light and airy dough, then we toss them in cinnamon sugar and pair them with a delicious dulce de leche dipping sauce. They’re poppable, dippable and the perfect add-on to your Krispy Kreme purchase.”

Fall Lineup to Go Along With Krispy Kreme Churro Doughnut Dots

Krispy Kreme has become known for frequently changing its limited-time lineup, meaning there can be a fairly short window between one special offering leaving the menu and another arriving. For guests who have been following the company’s recent releases, September has already brought several changes.

The new September 22 doughnuts will join Krispy Kreme’s broader fall lineup, which currently includes seasonal options such as the Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut, Biscoff Cookie Butter Doughnut, Maple Cheesecake Doughnut, and Cafe Mocha Doughnut. Krispy Kreme’s current menu also features its Original Glazed doughnut and seasonal beverages.

The September 22 arrival follows the departure of several recent limited-time offerings. The Pokémon Doughnut Collection was one of Krispy Kreme’s biggest recent collaborations, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pokémon with character-inspired doughnuts featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff, along with a Poké Ball doughnut. The collection launched in August and was offered for a limited time.

Krispy Kreme also introduced its Apple Cider Original Glazed Doughnut as another limited-time fall offering. That release gave the classic Original Glazed format an apple cider-inspired twist before making way for the next limited-time options.

The Original Glazed Blueberry Flavored Doughnut then made a surprise return for just four days in September. Krispy Kreme said the doughnut was returning after fans made it clear they were not ready to say goodbye to the summer flavor.

Krispy Kreme Continues Its Limited-Time Rotation

The constant rotation of special doughnuts has become an increasingly important part of Krispy Kreme’s menu strategy. Seasonal flavors can appear for only a short period before another collaboration, holiday collection or returning favorite takes their place. That makes the September 22 launch worth watching, particularly for Krispy Kreme fans who enjoy trying each new release before it disappears. Also, Krispy Kreme isn’t the only restaurant brand leaning into limited-time and entertainment-driven menu offerings this fall. First Watch recently teamed up with NBC’s The Traitors: New Blood for a limited-time breakfast menu, showing just how much restaurants are using seasonal and pop culture collaborations to give guests another reason to make a visit.
