Somehow, Jason Voorhees will be featured in a Halloween Horror Nights house this year. This will be happening despite some confusing rights issues.
When the rights holders over the “Jason Universe” announced the brand-new Jason Voorhees design, it sparked theories that this was how Halloween Horror Nights would negotiate to use Jason Voorhees. Also, when the social media post indicated the company would be doing immersive experiences, HHHN came to mind for most fans of the spooky season.
In mid-May, a VW Beetle, supposedly from the “Friday the 13th” movie franchise, arrived near the expected queue area for a Jason Voorhees HHN 2025 house. This heated up speculation about the classic slasher.
Since this photo shows an outdoor portion of a potential queue connected to the Fast & Furious attraction, will this cause part of a possible forest or camp setting to be outdoors? Will this potential Halloween Horror Nights house feature scenes from the third movie, where a VW Beetle takes a beating? What happens if it rains in this potential outdoor area? Halloween Horror Nights takes place during the rainy hurricane season. HHN fans joke that it rains every opening night of Halloween Horror Nights. In fairness, it rains heavily every recent opening night of HHN. The Jason Voorhees HHN 2025 house makes sense to incorporate outdoor elements, but it is a risky move.

The reckoning begins on Friday, August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

This fall, the twisted, creative minds behind Halloween Horror Nights pay homage to the machete-wielding slasher in a horrifying haunted house that re-awakens the legend to terrify old and new fans alike.
