Howl-O-Scream 2025 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay kicks off September 5, running on select nights through November 1. In addition to the scare zones, haunted houses, and shows, this event offers spooky eats and killer drinks. In fact, we received an unexpected preview of two of the Howl-O-Scream food offerings almost two weeks ago.

Although some information has been released about the food and beverages being sold at Howl-O-Scream Tampa, guests had very little information about the options for the 2025 event just a few days prior. This contrasts with sister United Parks & Resorts’ theme park, SeaWorld Orlando, which released food and drink information several weeks ago. In fairness, Universal Orlando Resort waited until the week of their Halloween Horror Nights to release official food and beverage information.
Two Days Before Howl-O-Scream Opening Night

On Wednesday, September 3, Howl-O-Scream released some photos of the food options for this year’s event. This was done ahead of a media preview event that evening. We attended that media preview event. During it, participants got a glimpse of some of the Howl-O-Scream food options. However, at the time of writing, we have not seen an official Howl-O-Scream food 2025 listing for guests to examine before attending opening night tomorrow.
UPDATE (4:15 p.m. on September 4): The Bites and Boos section of the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay website started updating with many of the food items we will list below. However, the update was not completed at that time.
UPDATE: (7:00 p.m. on September 4): All food and beverage information has been taken down on the website.
UPDATE (5:00 p.m. on September 5- Opening Night): We still see no Howl-O-Scream food information on the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay website.
Howl-O-Scream Food 2025
Still, we learn a bit more about the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Howl-O-Scream food 2025. Although we suspect this does not count as a complete list of food available for purchase during the event, we can describe the food options we saw during the media preview event.
- Vampire Tacos – Shredded Pork Carnitas with Cilantro Crema on a warm Flour Tortilla
- Black Widow Sliders – Seasoned Angus Beef on a Crafted Black Poppy Seed Bun, and Smokey Red Gouda Sauce
- Extreme Smoke Mac – Roasted Garlic Mac and Cheese, Smoked Pulled Chicken and Red Chili Bread Crumbs
- Zombie Rice – Salted Jasmine Rice, Cilantro and Jalapeño Sauce
- Dracula Pretzel Bites – Six Pretzel Bites with Bloody Cheese Sauce
- Flamin Hot Elote – Hot and Buttery Warm Corn Rolled in Hot Cheetos
- Sweet Zombie Brains – Sweet Zombie Brains
- Cheetos & Churros – Deep Fried Churros tossed in our Cinnamon Hot Cheetos Sugar Drizzle with Caramel and Topped with Whipped Cream
- Flamin Hot Chicken Tenders – Three Juicy Chicken Tenders Tossed in a Bold Flamin’ Hot Sauce
- Slaughter Dog – All Beef Dog On a Black Hotdog Bun, Roasted Corn, Shishito Pepper, Chili Dijon Cheese Sauce
- Zombie Fingers – Gruesome Zombie Finger Cookies (contains almonds) -three per portion
- Blood Dust Loaded Fries – 6 oz. fries tossed in a red dust seasoning, Smoke Cheese Sauce, Bacon Bits, Pickled Jalapenos, and onions
- Deep Fried Wings – Five Baked then Fried wings with choice (Habanero Garlic Sour Apple, Smoke Bourbon BBQ, Sweet Heat)
- Crispy Cheesy Cheetos Korean Corn Dog – One Deep Fried Crispy Korean Corn Dog Roll in Hot Cheetos Served with Spicy Salsa.
There will also be an Oscar Popcorn Bucket filled with red popcorn at several Howl-O-Scream 2025 food and beverage locations.
