Late last month, we learned that Pokemon-themed Goldfish cheddar crackers would be available in stores. Now, we have details of the Hershey’s Kisses and Pokemon collaboration.

Chocolate lovers and Pokémon Trainers, prepare for trouble, and make it double. The Hershey Company has officially announced a “villainous” twist to its latest collaboration with The Pokémon Company International. Celebrating 30 years of the iconic franchise, this year’s special-edition Hershey’s Kisses collection features 151 classic Poké Ball foils plus 10 brand-new designs inspired by the notorious Team Rocket.

The Hershey’s Pokémon Collection 2026 is a narrative-driven experience. Team Rocket has launched a “mission” to steal every Hershey’s Kisses foil design, challenging fans to collect all 151 designs before the villains do.

“Pokémon brings people together in ways few brands can — and that same joy of discovery lives in Hershey’s chocolate,” said Carly Andrews, associate brand manager at The Hershey Company. “With 151 Poké Ball foils and the addition of Team Rocket foils, this year’s collection delivers our most fun, collectible Pokémon release yet.”

Digital Hub and Interactive Hijinks

The takeover has already begun on social media, with Team Rocket temporarily seizing control of Hershey’s Instagram to post about their ongoing chocolate heists. Starting May 12, fans can scan QR codes on 9-oz share packs and 28-oz party bags to access a digital collection hub. This platform allows collectors to:

  • Track their foil finds in real-time.
  • Follow the unfolding Team Rocket storyline.
  • Enter for a chance to win exclusive prizes and a grand prize.
