The fall season has arrived, and with it comes one of the most beloved celebrations of the year — Halloween Time Disneyland Resort. Running now through October 31, 2025, the entire resort has transformed into a festive destination filled with pumpkins, seasonal décor, specialty food, and family-friendly frights. Guests will also discover celebrations of Día de los Muertos, fall character dining, and even touches from the ongoing 70th Anniversary Celebration.

Classic Halloween Attractions and Décor

Disneyland Park welcomes guests with the return of the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A., a must-have photo opportunity that has become an icon of the season. Inside the park, the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas once again delivers ghoulishly good fun.

At Disney California Adventure Park, guests can enjoy three seasonal attraction transformations:

  • Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween
  • Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark

As night falls, the skies light up with the “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular, complete with fireworks on select evenings. Younger guests will love Mickey’s Trick and Treat show, while those looking for something extra can join Disney’s Happiest Haunts: The Villains’ Trail Guided Tour.

Halloween Time Disneyland Resort: Resort-Wide Activities

Halloween Time Disneyland Resort also brings back Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, where guests purchase a themed map and then hunt for character-inspired pumpkins hidden around both parks and Downtown Disney District. Completing the quest earns a special keepsake.

The Halloween spirit continues in the Downtown Disney District with seasonal décor, live entertainment, and tasty fall treats. A new addition this year is weekly Halloween movie nights every Wednesday from September 24 through October 31, 2025, on the Downtown Disney Live! stage and lawn, paired with a themed sweet treat cart.
