Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has announced an out-of-this-world, first-of-its-kind collaboration with The Jim Henson Company, bringing the beloved Fraggles to Florida’s Space Coast in a brand-new live show: Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure!
Debuting on Monday, December 22, this exciting production will blend the magic of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop™ with the awe-inspiring realities of NASA space exploration, promising a musical, educational, and fun-filled adventure for the whole family. You can see the Fraggles Kennedy Space Center starting just before the holidays.
From Fraggle Rock to the Rocket Garden
In this original on-stage spectacular, Fraggle favorites Gobo, Red, and making his live stage debut, the globetrotting Uncle Travelling Matt, venture from their underground caves and follow a mysterious postcard all the way to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Their quest for discovery leads them right to a member of the essential Exploration Ground Systems crew! Together, they embark on a comedic and musical journey to learn all about NASA’s groundbreaking Artemis missions and humanity’s next giant leap back to the Moon. In a truly unique moment, the Fraggles Kennedy Space Center will even get to talk with a real astronaut from the International Space Station.
The show promises not only laughter and music, but an inspiring message that everyone, no matter how big or small, can make a difference in the universe. This theme aligns with NASA’s spirit of collaboration and curiosity.
Fraggles Kennedy Space Center: A Star-Studded Production
Fans can look forward to seeing the iconic characters come to life, including full-body costumed Fraggles and puppet Doozers, all lovingly crafted by the award-winning Jim Henson’s Creature Shop™. The show is written, choreographed, and directed by John Tartaglia, who serves as The Jim Henson Company’s Creative Supervisor for Fraggle Rock.
“Families are in for a real treat when the magic and wonder of Fraggle Rock arrives at the legendary Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex,” said Tartaglia.

The best part? Seeing Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure is included with standard admission! The show will be performed twice daily in the Universe Theater:
