Five Nights at Freddy’s is officially coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Orlando and Hollywood. Get the details on what fans can expect from this terrifying new haunted experience.
We learned this in a surprise Sunday night announcement on social media. Halloween Horror Nights posted a cryptic message announcing the Blumhouse property coming to HHN. Is this a standard HHN house,or is it something else?
The partnership between Blumhouse Studios and Halloween Horror Nights continues this year. Over the last few years, Halloween Horror Nights fans have expected Blumhouse to appear at the event. Last year, it involved a scare zone in the San Francisco area of Universal Studios Florida theme park. In previous years, Blumhouse has provided intellectual properties for houses like The Exorcist: Believer.

A highly speculated and anticipated Blumhouse property did not appear at Halloween Horror Nights 2024, as some thought it would. However, “Five Nights at Freddy’s” will be a house for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Orlando and Hollywood. Insiders have been highly speculating about this HHN house for months.

“Five Nights at Freddy’s” Movie by Blumhouse
The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie, released in 2023, brought the popular horror video game series to the big screen with a suspenseful and atmospheric adaptation. Directed by Emma Tammi and produced by Blumhouse Productions, the film follows Mike Schmidt, a troubled security guard who takes a night shift job at the abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. What seems like a simple job quickly turns terrifying when the animatronic mascots—Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy—begin to exhibit deadly, supernatural behavior.
The movie remains faithful to the game’s eerie tone and core concept, capturing the claustrophobic horror of being trapped in a building with haunted animatronics. While it adds a deeper backstory to Mike and introduces his younger sister Abby, it also explores the dark past of the pizzeria and its sinister creator, William Afton. The blend of psychological horror and jump scares echoes the game’s style, while expanding the lore for both fans and newcomers.
Critically, the movie received mixed reviews. Fans appreciated the faithful references and practical effects, especially the animatronics designed by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. However, some critics felt the plot lacked cohesion and that the scares were predictable. Despite this, “Five Nights at Freddy’s” found success at the box office, bolstered by a passionate fanbase and strong streaming performance.
Overall, the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie is a chilling and nostalgic experience that successfully translates a beloved game into a horror film. It offers enough suspense and fan service to entertain both longtime followers and new audiences.
What Should We Expect From a “Five Nights at Freddy’s House?”

We think the announcement of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” coming to Halloween Horror Nights refers to a house. However, the social media post says: “coming in a whole new way.” That does not 100% confirm this will be an HHN house. However, speculation has been leaning towards that type of thing for months. For our purposes, we will assume this Sunday night announcement means a house, but maybe a different kid of haunted house.
So, Halloween Horror Nights fans get to enjoy a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” house. How will Universal Orlando Resort pull this off? Will it involve large puppets? Will it be team members in large costumes? The animatronic mascots in “Five Nights at Freddy’s are large. How will Universal Orlando Resort create that scale within a house?
This house will require a significant investment of time and budget by the design team. Otherwise, guests may end up with just a few cool elements within a below-average house, like “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count” from Halloween Horror Nights 2023. At the time of writing, we have no official details about “Five Nights at Freddy’s” at Halloween Horror Nights. We expect an official press release sometime this week. MSM News will update when we receive an official announcement.
M3GAN: Will We See This Killer Robot Again at Halloween Horror Nights?

Universal Orlando Resort’s summer celebration will include M3GAN’s appearance at Universal Studios Florida from June 10 through 30. When this announcement was initially made, we did not have many details. In fact, we still know little, but June 10 is fast approaching.
Still, if the sequel does well, the chances of more M3GAN during Halloween Horror Nights sound likely. With “M3GAN 2.0” releasing in theatres on June 27, 2025, the killer robot should appear. However, we have no confirmation about this Blumhouse property being at HHN 2025.
