From Asian cuisine to live performances, Dragon Fire Grill Tampa offers a unique dining experience inside Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. We went for a visit while on an All-Day Dining tour.

What to Expect at Dragon Fire Grill Tampa

Located in the vibrant Pantopia section of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Dragon Fire Grill & Pub is a large, market-style dining venue that blends global flavors with live entertainment and a full-service bar. This food court-style restaurant features indoor seating, a centralized ordering station, and four unique food counters offering diverse options for families and adults alike.
Dragon Fire Grill Tampa Menu Options

Guests can enjoy a wide range of meals here, from chicken platters and burgers to Asian-style dishes, tacos, pizzas, and fresh salads. On our latest visit, we chose the “Pick Two” option from the Asian station, selecting Beef and Broccoli and Orange Chicken, served with fried rice. For our side, we added an egg roll.

The egg roll lacked freshness and had minimal flavor, making it a skip-worthy option, especially at $7.99. The entrée portions were noticeably small, and the Orange Chicken was underwhelming in taste. The Beef and Broccoli had better flavor, but still felt like overcooked, standard food court fare.
Live Entertainment: The Icons Show

A unique feature of Dragon Fire Grill Tampa is its in-restaurant live performances. During our visit, the “Icons” show was playing, featuring high-energy renditions of musical hits from past decades. While the show adds fun and flair, it also creates a darker, louder dining atmosphere until it ends.
Using the All-Day Dining Plan at Dragon Fire Grill Tampa

We visited using the Busch Gardens Tampa All-Day Dining Plan, which allows guests to eat every 90 minutes, choosing an entrée, a side or dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink. At $59.99 per person, it can offer good value if you plan to eat multiple meals. Dragon Fire Grill is a participating location, but the menu has been streamlined since the opening of Toma at Orang Café.
Dragon Fire Grill Tampa History
This dining location debuted in June 2015 as a reimagined version of the former Desert Grill. As part of the Pantopia and Falcon’s Fury expansion, it received a complete interior and exterior makeover, adding a bar and upgrading the serving system.
Is the Food Worth It?
Dragon Fire Grill Tampa shines for its atmosphere, entertainment, and comfort, especially with air-conditioned indoor seating and stage shows. However, the food—especially from the Asian station—leaves something to be desired in terms of freshness, flavor, and portion size.
If you’re using the All-Day Dining Plan, Dragon Fire Grill offers a convenient spot to catch a show while refueling. However, for better food quality, we’ve previously enjoyed the Tex-Mex station here or recommend checking out other options like Toma at Orang Café.
Final Thoughts
Dragon Fire Grill & Pub remains a versatile and family-friendly stop within Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. It’s more than just a quick bite—it’s part of the park’s broader entertainment experience. For the best value, use the All-Day Dining Plan and enjoy the musical performances. Just manage expectations when it comes to food quality.
