Domino’s launches the Domino personal pizza nationwide on Aug. 31. Featuring two layers of cheese and a crispy Parmesan crust, it is built for quick personal dining.

Some will wonder what took so long. However, after more than 65 years, Domino’s Pizza Inc. is making a major menu addition. Launching in stores nationwide on Aug. 31, the company is introducing its first-ever single-serve Detroit-style pizza: The Domino. Designed specifically to solve the dilemma of compromise during group pizza orders, The Domino delivers a personal dining solution without sacrificing quality or topping choices.

What Is The Domino?

The Domino is a individual Detroit-style pizza shaped like the brand’s logo and cut into two slices. Handmade using premium, buttery-flavored pan dough, the crust is encrusted with real Parmesan cheese and baked in a rectangular pan to achieve a signature crispy edge. Each pizza features:

  • Two layers of cheese for rich texture and coverage.
  • Customer’s choice of sauce to fit individual tastes.
  • Up to three customizable toppings.
  • Domino’s signature garlic seasoning drizzle to finish.

Domino’s Launches the Domino: Solving the Group Order Dilemma

Traditional group ordering often forces customers to settle on shared toppings or crust styles. The Domino targets single-serve meal occasions, making it an ideal option for quick lunches, late-night cravings, or family nights where everyone wants something different.

“The Domino fills a gap in our portfolio,” said Joe Jordan, chief operating officer and president of Domino’s U.S., and incoming CEO. “When everyone wants something different, traditional pizza falls short. The Domino lets every person build the exact pizza they want. It’s fitting that the next generation in pizza is shaped like the logo of the No. 1 pizza company in the world. The Domino is so mouthwatering that we gave it our name!”

Domino’s Launches the Domino: Pricing and Availability

The Domino officially arrives at locations across the United States on Aug. 31. Customers will be able to order a two-topping version of The Domino as part of the brand’s Mix and Match Deal for $6.99 each when choosing any two or more eligible menu items. Orders can be placed online at dominos.com or via the Domino’s mobile application. To find the nearest store and place an order, visit dominos.com or download Domino’s mobile app.
