Disney Springs Dining Update: The Polite Pig Adds a Salad

Guests who frequent the Lime Garage at Disney Springs know the aroma of The Polite Pig. That quick service restaurant is located at the bottom of the escalators that guests take from the Lime Garage, so the pleasant smell of barbecue greets guests there.

This Michelin-recommended restaurant added a salad to the menu recently. The Mediterranean Salad costs $15. It consists of “bibb lettuce, red leaf, red onion, heirloom carrots, lemon hummus vinaigrette, quinoa, feta cheese, pickled fresno peppers, crunchy garbanzo beans.”

Disney Spring Dining Update: Mother’s Day Weekend Donuts at Everglazed

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs loves to have special limited-time donuts. This gives the pastry chefs a chance to be creative. For Mother’s Day (U.S.A.) weekend, Everglazed will sell a special donut. This donut consists of a lavender iced donut topped with vanilla buttercream, candy pearls, pink icing, and an edible Mother’s Day disc. It will only be available May 9-11, so visit soon for this Disney Springs dining update.

Mother’s Day at Disney Springs

Walt Disney World posted some suggestions for guests to enjoy Mother’s Day at Disney Springs. Their suggestions include:

Photo with Mom and Postcards: “Sometimes moms just need to know you appreciate them. A letter or a family photo is a wonderful way to remind them, and you can do both at Disney Springs, compliments of AdventHealth. Look for the oversized “Mom!” sign near the Orange Garage and Coca-Cola Store where you can snap a photo with the whole family.

And while you’re there, why not gift mom a handwritten postcard? Guests can send a special message on complimentary postcards made from seeded paper that mom can plant into the ground to grow beautiful spring flowers. We’ll even put the postage on for free and mail it for you!”

Get Moving with Mom: “How about a morning fitness class to kick off a special day with mom?  AdventHealth is offering a couple of opportunities for families to boost their physical and mental well-being at Disney Springs with yoga and Zumba classes on May 11 from 9:15-10 a.m. in the Market Stalls. Guests looking to participate can sign up in advance here. 

Walt Disney World fans can take in “Drawn to Life” by Cirque du Soleil entertainment. Also, they can enjoy weekend brunch at one of the many options at Disney Springs.

Disney Springs Dining Update: Terralina Crafted Italian Mother’s Day

For this Sunday, on Mother’s Day, Terralina Crafted Italian has a Mother’s Day special. Guests can celebrate Mom with a Ten Layer Lasagna, the Mother’s Day special. It is available this Sunday, with Strawberry Créme Brûlée for dessert

Mother’s Day at eet by Maneet Chauhan

Over at the Indian street food-style quick service, eet by Maneet Chauhan, they have designed a special cocktail for the day. Guests can stop by Eet.fun.indian to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend for the limited-time cocktail, Mom’s Sweet Escape, featuring cake vodka, triple sec, cranberry, and lime juice.
