In our latest Disney Springs dining update, we found some new things at Wine Bar George and Frontera Cocina Mexicana, ranging from smashburgers to a happy hour.
On July 16, Disney Springs visitors will have several new menu items to try. Gideon’s Bakehouse will unveil its limited-time cookie availability for the rest of the month. Additionally, the new Chef Selects menu comes out at City Works Eatery & Pour House. Still, that is not all that is new at Disney Springs regarding dining.
Frontera Cocina Mexicana Menu Updates
Frontera Cocina Mexicana has some new menu items, making our Disney Springs dining update. Those new items include:
- Cóctel de Camarones -Florida pink shrimp with a psicy-tangy Mexican cocktail sauce, avocado, jicama, cucumber, serrano peppers, cilantro, and lime served with tortilla chips (contains shellfish) $20
- Roasted Corn & Bacon Tlayuda – Fresh roasted corn, applewood smoked bacon,chihuahua cheese, queso fresco, tomatillo sauce, morita chili (contasin pork) $20
- Grilled Red Snapper – served with plantain rice and fresh tortillas $36
- Cuatro Leches topped with Mango.
At the time of writing, these do not appear on the online menu at Frontera Cocina. However, we did receive a copy of the new menu.
Disney Springs Dining Update: Happy Hour Returns to Frontera Cocina
Additionally, the happy hour promotion has returned to Frontera Cocina. It happens DAILY now on the side patio and inside bar from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. However, this version only involves beverages as opposed to the
Smashburgers for Lunch from Wine Bar George?
Either this is really new, or we have missed it during our frequent visits to Disney Springs. However, Wine Bar George sells smashburgers on an outdoor grill on Fridays during lunch hours from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.. These cost $15. The smashburgers come with cheese and pickles. Additionally, guests receive a bag of regular or salt & vinegar chips. This will happen for the entire month of July.
