Disney has officially launched its 2025 holiday campaign, “Make Someone’s Holiday Magic,” promising a season filled with heartwarming content, global goodwill, and, crucially for us, special experiences at Disney Parks and Resorts around the world.

The announcement, which kicked off on November 10, 2025, confirmed that the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and other global parks will be major hubs for the celebration, ensuring fans can create those “lifelong memories” the company is known for. “For generations, Disney has been part of how families celebrate the holidays—through the impact we have in communities, the stories we share, and the lifelong memories we help create that bring people together,” said Disney’s Joanna Balikian, Senior Vice President, Brand Management. “This year, Disney is continuing that legacy of making magic during the holidays all over the world.”

While the press release is light on specific details about new parades or ride overlays, it explicitly states that the “Disney holiday magic will be available through special experiences at Disney Parks and Resorts” all season long. This confirms the fan-favorite holiday transformations are underway, providing the perfect festive atmosphere for families visiting the resorts.

More notably, the parks are playing a central role in Disney’s charitable giving this year: the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive. Park guests who wish to participate in the Marine Toys for Tots program can donate a new, unwrapped toy in person at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort locations. The in-park donation period, part of the wider Disney Holiday Magic Tour outreach, runs from now through December 14, 2025, offering a convenient way for visitors to spread cheer to children in need.

Must-See Holiday Entertainment: Best Christmas Ever

For fans who want to get into the Disney spirit before or after their park trip, the celebration kicks off with a new animated short, A Disney Holiday Short: Best Christmas Ever. Available today on Disney+ and online, the short is directed by Academy Award-winner Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit). It’s a sweet story of a little girl and her imaginary doodle friend who comes to life. The lovable character “Doodle” is voiced by the Disney Legend John Goodman, who is instantly recognizable to park and film fans as Sulley from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.

Waititi, whose previous holiday short The Boy & The Octopus was Emmy-nominated, noted that the story is “set in the world of a kid… just with the power of friendship and imagination,” a theme that beautifully aligns with the magic you’ll find on the Disney Holiday Magic Tour. “What makes this story uniquely Disney is the fact that it’s set in the world of a kid. It’s a kid and her new best friend, navigating the complex world together, and doing it just with the power of friendship and imagination,” said Taika Waititi.

The holiday season is now in full swing! Whether you are making someone’s holiday magic with a toy donation at the resorts, or simply enjoying the decorated atmosphere, the Disney Parks are ready to celebrate.
