City Works Disney Springs serves Meatloaf Sliders with pimento cheese and bourbon glaze—see what we thought in our latest review.

In recent weeks, we have visited City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs, where we often try new menu items. On a different day, we were even invited out for a visit by the restaurant chain. Based on that invitation and the stack of reward points in our Bottleneck Rewards account, we felt City Works Eatery & Pour House Disney Springs deserves some more attention. Additionally, the new Chef Selects menu comes out on July 16.
City Works Eatery & Pour House

City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs is a vibrant, upscale sports‑bar–style restaurant on the West Side, near Cirque du Soleil and House of Blues. spanning about 8,632 ft² of indoor space plus a 1,731 ft² patio. It seats around 309 guests and features three bars, two of which open onto a shaded outdoor area.
The venue boasts 17 HD TVs, including an impressive 168‑inch video wall and several 110″ and 65″ screens, making it an unbeatable spot to catch live sports. Beer lovers rejoice with 90 rotating taps—30–40% of which showcase Florida breweries—and flights and tasters available, there’s something for every palate. Additional drink options include draft wines, cocktails, and seltzers, plus an on‑the‑go outdoor bar offering walk‑around Disney Springs beverages. The menu offers modern twists on American classics, including duck nachos, Ahi tuna tacos, house-smoked ribs, inventive burgers, and vegan kung pao cauliflower.
Based on a promotion at City Works Eatery & Pour House, we decided to have lunch there. Our objective was to try the Meatloaf Sliders, which debuted on the menu along with many other items in late April 2025.
City Works Disney Springs Meatloaf Sliders – $16.45

The menu description for this appetizer reads, “Smoked meatloaf, maple bourbon glaze, pimento cheese, arugula, crispy red onion, mini brioche buns.” Guests receive three sliders with this order.

When we ordered these, our server acted like he loved them. Guests receive three decent-sized sliders. These Meatloaf Sliders offer plenty of flavor with a good brioche bun. However, the smoked meatloaf gets overwhelmed a bit by all the other ingredients.

Our first slider was a bit messy. We resorted to using a fork to finish eating that one. The maple bourbon glaze was inconsistent with that slider. Still, it makes a nice component. For the second slider, the flavors of the pimento cheese and glaze work well. Overall, we found the combination of components brings an elevated flavor.

These Meatloaf Sliders at City Works Disney Springs make a good choice for an appetizer to share to start your meal. Of course, with three sliders, sharing could be tough based on the number of people in your group. Additionally, some guests might find the spice level too high with the key ingredients.
Final Note: City Works Disney Springs
We enjoy dining at City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs. Nevertheless, we’d like to point out that guests should always double-check their bill before paying it. This location provides excellent service, but can be a bit sloppy with the details of the check. We encounter this around one-third of the time when dining here. However, guests do get Walt Disney World annual pass discounts and other discounts that can sometimes be combined.
