At Busch Gardens Bier Fest, the Churrasco Street Taco delivers big flavor and a rare menu win — you actually get two tacos. See why this dish is worth a bite.

Bier Fest at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is many things — a place for beer lovers to sip, BBQ fans to nibble, and menu proofreaders to suffer mild aneurysms. This year’s food lineup once again proved that festival menus here have the same relationship to reality as a Bigfoot documentary — technically possible, but usually disappointing. We’ve seen “sliders” turn into a lonely slider, “chicken legs” magically morph into a single drumstick, and bratwurst & currywurst cause such confusion you’d think they were debating foreign policy.
However, then, like a unicorn prancing through the German polka music, we found the Churrasco Street Taco. Plural. Two tacos. TWO! We almost hugged the food ambassador, but they were still muttering about sausages.
The Churrasco Street Taco Explained

The Churrasco Street Taco starts with marinated grilled steak, sliced thin, piled onto a warm corn tortilla, and topped with chopped onions and fresh cilantro. That’s the official description. In reality, it’s an overfilled, slightly chaotic affair — the taco equivalent of someone overpacking a carry-on bag.
Flavor-wise? Solid. The steak had nice seasoning, the onions gave it that street-food crunch, and the cilantro did its cilantro thing (love it or hate it). It comes with a lime wedge for that “I know what I’m doing” squeeze.

Sauce options were… let’s call them interpretive. Our tacos were blessed with a red sauce that brought respectable heat, but we quickly learned many guests were receiving a milder green sauce. Both were fine, but the real problem was structural — the corn tortillas were not built for this level of ambition. Halfway through, ours surrendered like wet cardboard in a Florida rainstorm.
And one lingering mystery: what exactly makes this “BBQ” or “Bier Fest” food? Sure, there’s grilled meat, but this could easily wander over to the Food & Wine Festival without anyone noticing.
Pricing and the Sampler Lanyard Hack

Here’s where we break the fourth wall and save you some money. These tacos cost $10.99 if you pay outright. That sounds a little steep unless you’re charging it to your pet llama’s credit card.
Instead, get yourself a Sampler Lanyard. You can grab them in 5-item or 8-item versions (10 item option for pass members), and they’re basically the theme park version of a cheat code. Instead of paying full price per item, you flash your lanyard, trade in a “punch,” and walk away smugly knowing you just made that taco cost less than a fancy coffee. You can even share the punches between friends or hoard them for yourself like a responsible adult with trust issues.
The Mis Amigos Connection

You’ll find the Churrasco Street Taco at the Mis Amigos food and beverage cabin — the same place serving the infamous Walking Taco, which, despite the name, does not stroll over to you. While the Walking Taco left us a little underwhelmed, the Churrasco Street Taco restored our faith that Bier Fest can still deliver a solid festival bite… and in a rare twist, actually give you the plural amount promised on the menu.
Churrasco Street Taco

The Churrasco Street Taco might not scream “Bier Fest” or “BBQ,” but it’s tasty, generous, and (bless them) actually plural. The tortilla meltdown is a small price to pay for getting a festival portion that doesn’t require air quotes. Just bring napkins, a sampler lanyard, and perhaps a small emotional support fork for when the tortilla inevitably gives up. Rating: 🌮🌮 out of 2 possible tacos — because yes, you actually get both.
