Bièraubeurre Crepe Epic Universe combines sweet magic, crisp edges, and creamy Butterbeer flavor at Universal’s Café L’air De La Sirène.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter area at Universal Epic Universe features a French theme inspired by the second “Fantastic Beasts” movie. This setting offers excellent dining options, as well as the “Le Cirque Arcanus” show in this theme park world. If you have not seen this show, plan to see one of the earlier showtimes at Universal Epic Universe. It will be worth it!

Universal Epic Universe also offers some high-quality dining options. There are two quick-service places, a bar, and, of course, a Butterbeer cart. Okay, to be precise, there has been a Bièraubeurre since we were in France.

Bièraubeurre Crepe Epic Universe

Over at Café L’air De La Sirène, you can find what might be the most anticipated snack in the entirety of Universal Epic Universe. This quick service is a cafe where guests can try out French sandwiches, plats du jour, and desserts like the Bièraubeurre Crepe.

We visited Café L’air De La Sirène during a visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter section of Universal Epic Universe. The main area is themed to fit the French theme. As you enter the main area, you will see Café L’air De La Sirène on your left.

Once inside, guests will proceed through the entrance area to the check-in or host/hostess stand. From there, they will be seated. From the table, guests will utilize the Universal Orlando Resort mobile app to order food for table delivery.

On the day of our visit, we were seated very close to the area where the food comes from the kitchen. There were some table delivery issues. The runner with our order passed our table three times before realizing that the Bièraubeurre Crepe was for us.

Bièraubeurre Crepe Epic Universe at Cafe L’air de la Sirène – $19.99

The Bieraubeurre Crepe Epic Universe consists of “Shortbread cookie butter Bavarian cream, Bièraubeurre cream, strawberries, Bièraubeurre drizzle, and a shortbread cookie garnish” Served warm and golden, the Bièraubeurre Crêpe is filled with a rich, creamy Butterbeer-flavored custard and drizzled with a sweet caramel-style sauce that echoes the familiar butterscotch notes fans of the Wizarding World adore. The crêpes are very thin and a bit crispy on the edges.

The Bièraubeurre Crêpe is topped with cream and a shortbread cookie, featuring the word “Bièraubeurre” written on top. This pattern matches the Butterbeer Cream Puff that guests enjoyed during Butterbeer Season at Universal Orlando Resort. We experienced the same flavor from the cream and drizzle with that treat as in this crepe.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Treat

Our Bièraubeurre Crêpe Epic Universe tasted as we expected it to taste. Reports were that this Wizarding World of Harry Potter Butterbeer treat presented guests with a high amount of sweetness. When getting the creams and drizzle all in one bite, this can be very sweet. However, most bites of the crepe we enjoyed were not overly sweet. Additionally, the fresh strawberries enhance these crepes.

The crepes are well prepared. It offers a distinct Butterbeer flavor.  This makes an excellent elevated quick service dessert. Of course, in the setting of Cafe L’air de la Sirène, it fell more like table service dining anyway.

Guests need to enjoy the Butterbeer flavor before they decide to order this. If you have not tasted Butterbeer at Universal Orlando Resort or Butterbeer ice cream, then try those first before taking on this dessert. Additionally, the price point of basically $20 ranks a bit high for this dessert. However, the Wizarding World items tend to cost more for the experience.

Despite price concerns, this is perfect for fans of the “Harry Potter” books and films. The Bièraubeurre Crêpe is more than just a snack, it is an experience tied to the world of Harry Potter. For Butterbeer fans, this is a must-try item when visiting Univerasal Epic Universe.
