We attended the opening night of AquaGlow at Aquatica Orlando. Based on that, we have an AquaGlow food review to share as you prepare for your visit.

A night at Aquatica Orlando during AquaGlow isn’t just about glowing waterslides and shorter wait times. It also offers exclusive eats you won’t find during the day. During the media preview for AquaGlow 2026, we had the chance to sample event-specific menu items. However, we didn’t stop there. To describe a more authentic guest dining experience, we dined during AquaGlow on our own dime to revisit a couple of items post-media event. Here’s how the AquaGlow-exclusive food lineup stacks up.

Event Staples: Sweet Treats That Do Their Job

The AquaGlow Crispy Treat and AquaGlow Cupcake remain reliable dessert options. So, it’s easy to see why they’ve become event staples. Both are safe, crowd-pleasing choices that deliver exactly what you’d expect: sweetness, color, and a fun presentation that fits the glowing nighttime vibe. If you’re looking for something low-risk to satisfy a sweet tooth, these are easy wins.

Savory Standouts (and Letdowns)

We sampled the Chicken, Bacon & Ranch Pizza multiple times during the media event, hoping it might improve. However, unfortunately, it never quite landed. While the combination of bacon, grilled chicken, ranch, and hot honey drizzle sounds like a winner, the execution just didn’t come together. It’s a unique offering compared to standard theme park pizza, but not one we’d go out of our way to order again.

The Miso Bacon Cheeseburger was one of the more intriguing items on the menu. So, we gave it a fair shot, trying it three separate times. Oddly, it was served slightly differently each time, which made consistency an issue. Flavor-wise, it brings something different to the table with the miso aioli and sesame slaw, and it’s easily the most filling AquaGlow-exclusive option. That said, despite its creativity, we ultimately found it to be just okay overall.

On the spicier side, the Mango Habanero BBQ Wings absolutely do their job. These wings bring a legitimate kick that spice lovers will appreciate, making them one of the more memorable savory items from the event.

AquaGlow Food Review In-Park Revisit: Better the Second Time Around?

Starting with the Mac & Cheese Bites (priced at $9.99 for five), these were a pleasant surprise. They tasted noticeably better in-park than during the media preview. The bites were creamy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and finished with a slight spicy kick that builds toward the end. They’re also easily shareable, making them one of the better values among the event offerings, and one we’d actually consider worth the theme park price.

The Rainbow Cheesecake Cone ($8.99), however, didn’t quite live up to expectations. Visually, it looks fantastic. The colorful cheesecake filling and presentation fit the AquaGlow aesthetic perfectly. Flavor-wise, though, it fell a bit flat. While it’s still better than some recent theme park cheesecakes we’ve had (yes, we’re looking at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Oasis Pizza), it’s not something we’d rush back for. We also noticed some initial confusion among ambassadors while preparing it during our visit, though we can confirm that the cone itself is used properly moving forward.

AquaGlow Food Review Summary

AquaGlow at Aquatica Orlando delivers a solid mix of fun, exclusive food options to go along with its nighttime atmosphere. Still like most event menus, it’s a mix of hits and misses for this AquaGlow food review.

If you’re planning your snack strategy, the Pimento Mac & Cheese Bites and Mango Habanero BBQ Wings stand out as the strongest savory options, while the Crispy Treat and Cupcake remain dependable desserts. The more experimental items, like the burger and pizza, may be worth trying once, but don’t expect them to steal the show.
