The summer season approaches with the United States of America school systems ending the spring semester. Summer means more people spending time at pools, beaches, and water parks. Of course, in Florida, the summer heat can feel oppressive. This makes nighttime water fun more appealing in Florida.

With that in mind, Aquatica Orlando started the nighttime water park season on May 16 with the first night of AquaGlow. We were invited out to experience the first AquaGlow of the year. Last year, we also attended this event. We found it to be an enjoyable experience. What about this year?

This electrifying swim party transforms the water park into a vibrant neon paradise on select evenings throughout the summer. This family-friendly event offers a unique after-hours experience with glowing attractions and entertainment.​ This nighttime celebration invites guests of all ages to dive into unforgettable excitement on select nights from May 16 through September 27.

Guests can enjoy the mesmerizing Electric Tides laser show over the Cutback Cove wave pool, and experience Roa’s Rapids Amp’ed Up, a neon-lit lazy river enhanced with mist effects and high-energy music. The event also features a foam party, creating an unforgettable atmosphere under the stars.

AquaGlow Aquatica Orlando Things to Do

AquaGlow Aquatica Orlando offers “Glow Zones” all over the water park. Guests can enjoy captivating photo opportunities that include:

• Stroll beneath a dreamy canopy in our Jellyfish Garden
• Float under Tubular Sky for a pop of fun vibrant color
• Take in the ambience while exploring a Bubble Pathway or Glowing Tree Trail.

Also, several Aquatica attractions get an upgrade for Aquaglow. Guests can experience their favorite slides and pools in a whole new light with enhanced attractions including:

• Roa’s Rapids AMPED UP – Ride the currents through a neon paradise of light tunnels, mist effects and a spectrum of vibrant colors.
• Luminous Lane – Float into a moment of wonder. This nighttime twist on the classic lazy river wraps
  you in ambient lighting and soft glows, turning every drift into a serene, radiant
  escape.
• Tassie’s Neon Twist – Get ready to spin into a whole new dimension in this dazzling remix of a fan-favorite slide. Be immersed in a kaleidoscope of swirling colors and heart-pumping music now with a whole new vibe, exclusively for AquaGlow!

Culinary offerings are specially crafted for AquaGlow, including light-up popcorn buckets, neon cupcakes, and shimmering glow drinks. Complimentary soft drinks are included with admission. The special AquaGlow menu items include:

Waterstone Grill

Pineapple Burger Sliders – A duo of all-beef sliders topped with pineapple salsa and fresh arugula, served with crispy fries drizzled in garlic aioli.

Taco Trio – Three flour tortillas served with your choice of protein, (Pork Carnitas or Chicken Adobo), and topped simply and perfectly with onion and cilantro

AquaGlow Cupcakes – Baked in house, and perfectly sweet. This vanilla cupcake is crowned with bright, vibrant frosting that will add a pop of color to your night.

Mango Market

Bourbon St. BBQ Wings – Golden crispy wings tossed in a smoky, bourbon infused glaze. Served with seasoned fries and a side of creamy ranch.

Chicago Hot Dog – All-beef hot dog piled high with a bold burst of color and crunch—yellow mustard, chopped onions, sweet relish, tomato slices, and sport peppers, all tucked into a classic poppy seed bun.

Pimento Mac & Cheese Bites – A crave-worthy combo of cheddar and white cheese mac, rolled in garlicky panko breadcrumbs and fried to golden perfection. Drizzled with bold red Fiji kata sauce, and finished with Cotija cheese.

Walkabout Pizza

Buffalo Chicken Pizza – Grilled chicken breast tossed in zesty buffalo sauce, smothered in creamy queso, and topped with tangy blue cheese crumbles, scallions, and red onions. Finished off with an extra drizzle of buffalo sauce for that perfect kick.

Rainbow Cheesecake Cone – A sweet, crunchy waffle cone filled with a scoop of colorful, creamy cheesecake, topped with fluffy whipped cream and a swirl of strawberry glaze for the perfect finish.

AquaGlow Pricing

The AquaGlow after-hours event is a separately ticketed event, with prices ranging from $50 to $63, depending on the date. Aquatica annual pass members receive discounted admission. The event runs from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with park entry beginning at 6:00 PM. Limited capacity ensures shorter wait times and a more enjoyable guest experience.​
