After nearly a year of closure, EPCOT’s high-octane thrill ride is racing back onto the scene. Test Track 3.0 will officially open to all guests on July 22, 2025, bringing with it a brand-new storyline, updated visuals, and a refreshed partnership with General Motors.
But before the public gets their chance to drive the future, select guests—including Annual Passholders—will get an exclusive sneak peek.
Annual Passholder Preview Details
Disney has announced that Annual Passholder previews for Test Track 3.0 will take place from July 13 through July 19, excluding July 17. These previews will use a virtual queue system via the My Disney Experience app—something Passholders are likely very familiar with by now.
- At 7:00 AM, Passholders with an EPCOT park reservation can attempt to join the virtual queue.
- At 1:00 PM, the virtual queue opens to all Passholders, even without a park reservation.
- You do not need to be inside a theme park to join either virtual queue window.
As a bonus, any Passholder riding during the preview period will receive complimentary digital downloads of their on-ride photo—a great memento from your test run on the reimagined track.
Lightning Lane and Ride Access
When it opens on July 22, Test Track 3.0 will offer both a standby line and Lightning Lane Multi-Pass. It is not part of the Individual Lightning Lane tier (like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind), so guests using Multi-Pass can select it like other attractions in their daily lineup.
There will be no virtual queue required once the attraction officially opens to the general public.
