From paintbrush symbols to eerie poetry, The Artist HHN is shaping up to be a standout original house at Halloween Horror Nights 2025.
Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando starts in late August, with the first official night being August 29. The event runs five nights a week through November 2. That means the spooky event starts in a little over two months.
In preparation for Halloween Horror Nights (HHN), single-night tickets, express passes, and special tours have gone on sale. We have confirmation of three of the ten houses for 2025. These include:
While we have strong rumors of a WWE house and a “Terrifier” house, those have not been confirmed. We expect HHN 2025 to have five original houses not connected to a major intellectual property. If you give credibility to the HHN speculation maps from Horror Night Nightmares, then an interesting original house will be found at Soundstage 22 at Universal Studios Florida.
The Artist HHN Rumor
Horror Night Nightmares offered HHN fans a symbol of a paintbrush and columns to indicate the rumored original property for that location. Though that symbol confused many initially, informed sources indicate that it relates to an “Artist” of some type.
Mike Aiello
That speculation grew stronger when Mike Aiello, a key mind behind Halloween Horror Nights posted a cryptic reference online. It read, “Brushstrokes once meant for beauty began to ripple, distorting beneath stained glass light. From the colors came movement, and from movement, shape. And from shape…something took hold… something evil.”
Mike Aiello has been busy on social media this week. He posted about the drone returning to the CineSational nighttime lagoon show at Universal Studios Florida.
The Artist HHN: Stained Glass Collectible
Not only does his social media post about brushstrokes prompt people into thinking more about an “Artist” being a theme of a Halloween Horror Nights house, but he also referenced stained glass light. A collectible “stained glass” merchandise item has been a unique addition for this year’s HHN preview merchandise.
This stained glass collectible allows guests to purchase four pieces that fit nicely in the display. The five pieces will be the five intellectual properties used for HHN 2025. Guests can currently buy the “Fallout” and Jason Universe pieces since those are the only two official houses announced. “Five Nights at Freddy’s” fans must wait for the official announcement, even though we have that confirmed already.
The Artist HHN: Spooky Empire Announcement?
Based on that merchandise item and Mike Aiello’s social media post, the “Artist” looks very likely for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Orlando. In fact, we might find out for sure as soon as this Friday. Mike Aiello and his team will have a panel at Spooky Empire on June 20. Based on that, most have expected an announcement on that day at the event. It appears likely “reading the HHN tea leaves” that an announcement of some type will be about an “Artist” soon.
