Muppet*Vision 3D closing in June as Disney prepares to bring a new Monsters, Inc. land to Hollywood Studios. Guests only have a few days left to visit.

Muppet*Vision 3D Closing

Significant changes are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A Monsters, Inc.-themed land is officially set to replace the “Muppet*Vision 3D” attraction and the surrounding Muppets Courtyard. With the closing date confirmed, fans have just a short window left to enjoy the classic 3D show.

Muppet*Vision 3D Closing

The final day of operation for “Muppet*Vision 3D” is June 7. On that same day, nearby quick-service restaurant PizzeRizzo will also close its doors. This marks the end of an era for Muppets fans who have long cherished the show’s humor and charm, which has been a staple of the park since the 1990s.

In its place, a new “Monsters, Inc.” land will rise, bringing fresh energy and immersive storytelling to the park. The land will be set after the film’s events, where laughter, not screams, now powers the monster world. Guests can visit Monstropolis and enjoy a suspended door coaster, themed shopping and dining experiences, and a brand-new theater show.

While the Muppet*Vision 3D closing in this area is bittersweet, Walt Disney World has not forgotten the iconic characters. A retheme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring The Muppets is already in the works. Though details remain scarce, the ride will reportedly feature The Muppets teaming up with famous musical artists for a high-energy music festival experience.

As the curtain closes on “Muppet*Vision 3D,” fans are encouraged to visit while they still can. With the arrival of “Monsters, Inc.” and a new Muppets adventure on the horizon, Hollywood Studios is gearing up for an exciting transformation.
