While sitting at our computer waiting for press releases to drop, we saw a dining surprise from a restaurant at Disney Springs. We expected to find out about the new limited Chef Selects Menu that we referenced in the latest Disney Springs Dining Update article. However, we got different news from City Works Eatery & Pour House.

City Works Disney Springs New Menu

City Works

City Works Eatery & Pour House Disney Springs will update its menu starting April 30. The announcement indicates that several former favorites will be returning. Also, we were told that 17 new items would appear on the new menu. City Works Eatery & Pour House stated, “Big flavors are on the way. Headlining the heat is our Southern Burger, stacked with melty pimento cheese, candied jalapeños, crispy red onions, chipotle BBQ sauce, and classic slaw on a brioche bun. It’s bold. It’s saucy. It is downright craveable.”

Fan Favorites

We’re also bringing back fan favorites like the Smash Burger Tacos, the Blueberry Mint G&T, and more. Mark your calendar for April 30, and come hungry.” Two other new menu items supposedly coming with his new menu will be: Hot Honey Flatbread (A flatbread featuring a spicy marinara base with pepperoni, goat cheese, mozzarella, arugula, red pepper flakes, and a drizzle of hot honey maple) and a Thai Chili Noodle Bowl (A bowl with cold glass noodles, fresno chili, green onion, carrot, cilantro, edamame, red cabbage, cucumber, Thai chili vinaigrette, and crispy garlic).

On previous visits, we have enjoyed the flavor of the pimento cheese dip at City Works Eatery & Pour House. We had them as a part of an earlier Chef Select Menu option. That pimento cheese dip might work very well on a City Works burger. It has been a while since the Smash Burger Tacos were around. We do not remember much about them, so that might not be a good sign. However, they are supposed to be a fresh take on the smash burger taco trend. They will feature smashed beef patty with cheddar cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, vine-ripened tomato, red onion, dill pickle, and signature burger sauce, all wrapped in flour tortillas.

The Blueberry Mint G&T was part of a limited-time menu earlier this year. It is seen in the above photo with a Cucumber Mocktail that was also formerly offered.
