McDonald’s Boo Buckets 2026 are back with a spooky Disney Villains makeover starting October 20. There will be five different bucket designs for guests to collect.

Spooky season is officially in full swing at the Golden Arches. McDonald’s has announced that its beloved Happy Meal Halloween pails, famously known as Boo Buckets, will return nationwide starting October 20, 2026. This year, however, the fast-food giant is trading in classic ghosts and goblins for a darker, wickedly fun look. The McDonald’s Boo Buckets 2026 collection features five Disney Villains, making them an instant must-have for nostalgic fans and young collectors alike.

The 2026 collection marks the first movie-themed makeover for the Halloween pails since McDonald’s brought them back to menus in 2022. Each Happy Meal order will feature a pail themed after one of five legendary Disney antagonists:

  • Ursula (The Little Mermaid)
  • Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
  • Scar (The Lion King)
  • Jafar (Aladdin)
  • Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians)

In addition to the character graphics printed on the pails, every bucket includes a villain-inspired lid and a sheet of Halloween-themed stickers, allowing fans to customize their pails before taking them trick-or-treating.

The McDonald’s Boo Buckets 2026 will be available at participating McDonald’s locations across the United States beginning Tuesday, October 20, 2026, while supplies last. Because these seasonal pails tend to sell out quickly at drive-thrus, fans are encouraged to grab them early in the week. Whether you use them for trick-or-treating on Halloween night or display them as festive decor, this Disney-inspired drop is shaping up to be one of the most popular autumn releases yet. Also, do not forget about the Monopoly game running at McDonald’s.
