Hardee’s Brings Back a Fan Favorite With New S’mores and Bacon Menu

Hardee's S'mores platform menu lineup showcases an iced coffee, a blended shake, and a warm pastry filled with chocolate and marshmallow.

Hardee’s S’mores Platform joins the new Bacon Beast menu for fall, while the popular Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit returns for a limited time. As summer gives way to fall, Hardee’s is keeping a little warm-weather nostalgia on the menu while bringing guests heartier flavors for the new season. Hardee’s has introduced its new S’mores Platform and Bacon Beast Platform while bringing back the fan-favorite Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit for a limited time.

The new offerings give Hardee’s customers several different ways to approach the transition from summer into fall. The S’mores Platform leans into the familiar combination of chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker, while the Bacon Beast Platform takes a much more substantial approach with multiple menu items featuring plenty of cherrywood-smoked bacon. The seasonal launch also gives Hardee’s another opportunity to add limited-time food and beverage options to its menu as customers settle back into their fall routines.

Hardee’s S’mores Platform Brings Summer Nostalgia to Fall

The new S’mores Platform is designed around one of the most recognizable summer treats, with Hardee’s putting its own spin on the combination of toasted marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker. The platform includes three different S’mores offerings: the S’mores Iced Coffee, S’mores Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shake, and S’mores Fried Pie.

The S’mores Iced Coffee combines Hardee’s signature cold brew coffee with toasted marshmallow and chocolatey syrups. The result is intended to provide a lightly sweet coffee option that can work as either a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon treat.

For guests looking for something more indulgent, the S’mores Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shake features vanilla ice cream blended with toasted marshmallow and chocolate syrups. The shake is finished with graham cracker and chocolatey sprinkles, giving the drink the familiar toppings associated with a traditional s’mores experience.

The most distinctive item in the platform may be the S’mores Fried Pie. Hardee’s describes the seasonal dessert as featuring a golden-brown shell filled with graham crumble, marshmallow cream and a rich chocolatey filling. That puts the S’mores Fried Pie firmly into the category of fall limited-time desserts that could attract guests looking for something different from the usual pumpkin spice offerings.

Also, for readers who enjoy keeping up with seasonal and unusual fast food offerings, the Hardee’s launch is another example of how restaurants are using nostalgic flavors to create limited-time menu items. Main St Magic has also covered other recent fast food and seasonal food launches, including the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken at Panda Express.

Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit Returns

While the S’mores offerings are new, Hardee’s is also bringing back a familiar favorite. The Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit returns to the Hardee’s menu for a limited time. The sweet biscuit features raisins and cinnamon and is topped with a drizzle of icing. The item provides a fall-inspired alternative for guests who may not necessarily be looking for pumpkin spice flavors. Cinnamon and raisins bring their own combination of warm, familiar flavors, making the returning biscuit a natural fit for the transition into cooler weather.

Hardee’s is positioning the return as a chance for guests to enjoy a longtime favorite while also experiencing the newer seasonal offerings. This approach of mixing returning favorites with new limited-time products has become increasingly common across the fast food industry. Restaurants can create excitement around a new launch while giving longtime customers a reason to return for an item they already know.

The Bacon Beast Platform Is All About More Bacon

Hardee’s is also going in the opposite direction with its new Bacon Beast Platform. While the S’mores Platform is built around sweet flavors and nostalgia, the Bacon Beast Platform focuses on hearty menu items featuring multiple slices of cherrywood-smoked bacon.

For breakfast, guests can choose between the Super Bacon Biscuit and Bacon Beast Homestyle Breakfast Burrito. The Super Bacon Biscuit features a “Made from Scratch Biscuit” with three full slices of cherrywood-smoked bacon, egg, and melted American cheese.

The Bacon Beast Homestyle Breakfast Burrito takes the bacon even further, featuring four slices of cherrywood-smoked bacon with fluffy eggs and melted American cheese wrapped inside a warm tortilla. The Bacon Beast itself is a 100% Angus beef burger topped with four full slices of cherrywood-smoked bacon and served on a buttery brioche-style bun. There is also a limited-time incentive for new My Rewards members. Guests who sign up for the program during the promotional period will receive a free Bacon Beast Burger.

Bacon Beast Chicken Sandwich Joins the Lineup

The Bacon Beast Platform isn’t limited to burgers and breakfast. Chicken fans can try the Bacon Beast Chicken Sandwich, which combines hand-breaded, 100% white meat chicken with four slices of smoked bacon, ripe tomato and crisp lettuce.

The sandwich is served on a buttered brioche-style bun, bringing together the crispy chicken and bacon with the more traditional toppings of tomato and lettuce. With the burger and chicken sandwich both featuring four slices of bacon, Hardee’s is clearly making the amount of bacon one of the defining features of this new platform. Hardee’s S’mores Platform: Hardee’s Blends Summer and Fall Flavors

Hardee’s says the seasonal launch is intended to give customers the ability to enjoy flavors from both sides of the seasonal transition.

“As summer transitions to fall, we want our guests to know they don’t have to choose between the two seasons,” said Sarah Breymaier, vice president of brand marketing at Hardee’s. “Our new S’mores platform keeps those warm, nostalgic summer moments alive, while the return of our Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit brings the comfort guests love as the seasons change. At Hardee’s, we want to create meals that bring people together, no matter the season.”

That strategy is evident across the menu. The S’mores items recall summer campfires and warm evenings, while the Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit brings cinnamon-forward flavors that fit naturally into the fall season. Meanwhile, the Bacon Beast Platform is positioned as a more substantial option for customers getting back into regular routines after summer. The combination also comes at a time when seasonal food launches are becoming increasingly creative. Rather than simply moving from summer flavors directly into pumpkin spice, brands are finding ways to extend summer favorites while introducing traditional fall flavors at the same time.

That trend can be seen across other recent food and entertainment news covered by Main St Magic. For example, Dunkin’ recently leaned into its own seasonal celebrity-driven launch.

What to Know About the New Hardee’s S’mores Platform and More

The S’mores Platform, Bacon Beast Platform, and returning Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit began arriving at Hardee’s restaurants September 9. Since these are seasonal and limited-time offerings, availability can vary by location. Guests interested in trying one of the new products should check with their local Hardee’s restaurant for current availability.

For fans of fast food limited-time offerings, the launch provides several distinctly different choices. The S’mores Iced Coffee offers a coffee-based option, while the S’mores Hand-Scooped Ice Cream Shake and S’mores Fried Pie provide two dessert-focused ways to try the seasonal flavor. The Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit provides a returning favorite for breakfast, while the Bacon Beast Platform covers breakfast, burgers and chicken with a much heavier focus on bacon.

While Hardee’s is getting into the fall spirit, the restaurant isn’t the only place around the theme park and entertainment world introducing new food and drink experiences this September. Universal CityWalk Orlando has also recently added a new entertainment-focused destination with The Traitors: New Blood Bar at Universal CityWalk.

For Hardee’s customers, however, the choice this season is considerably simpler: stick with the nostalgia of S’mores, return to the Cinnamon ’N’ Raisin Biscuit, or embrace the Bacon Beast with a whole lot of bacon. With all three platforms arriving together, Hardee’s is giving guests plenty of ways to welcome the changing season without completely saying goodbye to summer.
