Howl-O-Scream Orlando returns to SeaWorld on select nights from September 11 through October 31, and while the haunted houses and scare zones get most of the pre-event buzz (looking at you, Pestilence), the event’s food and beverage lineup deserves its own spotlight. SeaWorld Orlando has published its full “Taste the Terror” menu, spread across nearly twenty culinary locations scattered through the park, and there is a lot to dig into before opening night. Also, we have some questions about Howl-O-Scream food still after our Scream and Sweat media event.

What Is the Taste the Terror Menu Lanyard?

For guests who want to sample widely without committing to full portions at every Howl-O-Scream Orlando stand, SeaWorld Orlando is again selling Taste the Terror tasting lanyards. Two options are available this year:

• Mocktails & Bites ($49.99 starting price): a five punch lanyard redeemable for five food items or full size non-alcoholic beverages.
• Spirits & Bites ($79.99 starting price): a ten punch lanyard good for five food items and five full size alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

Park admission is required separately, taxes are not included, and anyone redeeming alcohol punches needs a valid photo ID and must be 21 or older. The lanyard is only valid on Howl-O-Scream event nights and is non-transferable, so treat it like a punch card, not a wristband you can hand off to a friend.

Taste the Terror Menu: New Bites Worth Tracking Down

A handful of new food items stand out across the map this year. At Flame Pizza (location #1), the new Mummy Cheese Pizza wraps sliced mozzarella strips and olives around a hot honey drizzle, a playful spin on the usual flatbread lineup. Over at The Rewind (#2), the 90s throwback bar leans hard into cereal aisle nostalgia with the Eggo Massacre, a waffle sandwich stacked with breaded crispy chicken, bacon, and maple chili syrup, alongside a Pop Tart Sundae built two ways (S’mores and Strawberry).

At Waterway Grill (#8), two new entrees join the menu: a Buffalo Crispy Chicken Tender Wrap and a Mojo Pork Rice Bowl with black beans, rice, and avocado, both a welcome break from standard theme park counter service fare. Roadkill, the Nathan’s-branded stand (#16), adds a Highway Havoc Bacon Mac & Cheese Dog, which, notably, was one of the specialty items SeaWorld Orlando had guests sample at the media preview event where Pestilence was unveiled. Black Sheep at the Flamecraft Bar (#17) brings in new Garlic Parmesan Wings alongside its returning pretzel and nacho lineup.

Mercado de los Muertos, the marketplace location (#15), continues to be one of the stronger savory stops on the map with its Tripleta Sandwich, Elote Dip, and Beef Birria Ramen, plus a White Chocolate Skull dessert filled with raspberry jam for guests wanting something sweet and on theme.

Cocktails and Mocktails Get a Refresh

The drink menu is where SeaWorld Orlando made its biggest additions for 2026, with new cocktails scattered across nearly every bar location. Fanta Fright House (#9) introduces the Undead Dram (white rum, sugar free strawberry, pineapple juice, orange Fanta, and a red sugar rim) alongside two new mocktails, Creepy Cantina Chamoy and Citrus & Scream. Byte Bar at the Waterway Bar (#7) adds Cyber Fang, Machine Mercy, and Vamp.exe to its neon lit lineup, while Slasher Spirits at Sweet & Sour (#11) rolled out five new cocktails at once: Whitechapel Hex, Crimson Veil, Slasher’s Kiss, Fog & Scalpel, and Rippers Curse, plus a new mocktail called Penny Dreadful Spirits.

Black Sheep’s Flamecraft Bar (#17) is arguably the most drink-heavy new build this year, debuting seven new cocktails including Radiation Exposer, Evacuation Protocol, and Static on Channel 7. Beer drinkers will find the same rotating lineup of seasonal stouts and ciders across most locations, including Pig Spice Latte Stout, Pumpkin-delic, and Maple Warlock, all appearing at the majority of full-service bars.

Questions About Taste of Terror Menu After Our Media Event Experience

SeaWorld Orlando invited us out for a Scream and Sweat preview. While we appreciate that very much, we now have some, we now have some questions about the Taste of Terror menu items. During that event, we saw one food item, Cricket Tres Leches, not listed in the official SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream menu. Will those be at the event? Maybe they will be in other locations not listed? Of course, we may have just missed it in the long list of Tastes of Terror menu items at Howl-O-Scream Orlando.

Where the Menu Meets the Story

Howl-O-Scream Orlando has leaned into thematic naming across its 2026 Taste of Terror menu, with food and beverage mirroring this year’s overall event narrative. Jack the Ripper (#10) offers a Ripper Revenge bison burger topped with “vampire blood jam” and Fogbound Fang Bites, tying directly into the slasher aesthetic that also runs through the I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch house debuting this year in partnership with Sony Pictures. Larva Lounge at the Pipeline Carnival Bar (#19) keeps the bug themed cocktail names going with Maggot Mule and Golden Pupa, while Resurrection Club at the Glacier Bar (#4) offers a more straightforward, less gimmicky cocktail list for guests who just want a solid margarita between houses.
