Subway Brings Back Sweet and Spicy Flavors with a Brand-New Doritos Twist

Subway is officially leaning into the “swicy” trend this season, bringing back its fan-favorite sweet-and-heat flavor profile with an unexpected twist. The restaurant chain has launched the Hot Honey Signature Swicy Collection, introducing loaded Doritos Hot Honey Nachos alongside two new signature sub options. The latest addition to the limited-time lineup is the Doritos Hot Honey Nachos. Built on a base of crunchy Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips, the nachos are topped with melted Monterey cheddar, fresh veggies, and a drizzle of Subway’s signature Hot Honey.
Guests can choose from three pre-set builds: Chicken, Steak, or Cheese. Chicken and Cheese builds start at $4.99 at participating locations. The collection also adds two savory sub offerings to the menu: the Hot Honey Italian, served toasted with salami, pepperoni, and Italian-style provolone, and the Hot Honey Turkey Italiano, which features the same flavorful build with added turkey.

“Great Hot Honey is all about balance. You want enough heat to wake up the flavor, followed by a touch of sweetness that keeps you coming back for another bite,” said Chef Paul Fabre, SVP of Culinary Innovation.
“Our guests made it clear they wanted Hot Honey back, and we wanted to do more than simply bring back the same lineup,” said Jeff Klein, Chief Marketing Officer. “We partnered with DoritosĀ® to give them something completely unexpected: loaded Hot Honey Nachos with the big flavor, satisfying crunch, and value guests expect from Subway.”
To round out the menu, Subway is expanding its beverage lineup with Propel Kiwi Strawberry, a hydrating option formulated with Gatorade electrolytes, zero sugar, and vitamins B3, B5, B6, C, and E. The Hot Honey Signature Swicy Collection is available through Oct. 26 at participating Subway locations nationwide. Orders can be placed in-restaurant, online at Subway.com, or through the Subway App.
