SeaWorld Orlando unveils the Howl-O-Scream Orlando Dark Net house. Brave a futuristic nightmare where blood and oil spill in a crumbling cybernetic city.

A terrifying new vision of horror is officially coming to Central Florida this fall. SeaWorld Orlando has revealed its latest original haunted house concept for Howl-O-Scream 2026: The Dark Net. Set in a futuristic city pushed to the brink by an agonizing energy crisis, survival in this metropolis has taken a sinister, mechanical turn. Desperate cyborgs have discovered a horrifying new power source: human blood.

Guests will be forced to descend into the decaying underbelly of a crumbling cyberpunk metropolis. Amid flickering neon-lit ruins, cybernetic predators stalk the darkness, machines viciously feed on machines, and unsuspecting humans get caught right in the brutal crossfire. In this blood-soaked underworld, black oil drips alongside fresh plasma. Also, once these hungry creatures are pushed past their limits, they can’t always tell the difference. The city is dying, and its cybernetic inhabitants have found a terrifying new way to survive. Human or machine, it doesn’t matter to them: you are fuel in The Dark Net.

Building a Monster Lineup for 2026

The addition of The Dark Net continues an impressive streak of original announcements for the park’s sixth annual Halloween event. This news comes on the heels of several major reveals for the event lineup:

SeaWorld Orlando’s Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights starting September 11 (operating primarily on Friday and Saturday nights alongside select Thursdays and Sundays through October 31). Only one final haunted house remains to be announced for this year’s roster. While event organizers have confirmed that this final location will mark the return of a fan-favorite maze, the exact house title remains shrouded in mystery.
