Disney has officially unveiled an exciting new ongoing fashion collaboration with VP and Global Creative Director Bobby Kim. Designed to honor the nostalgia and legacy of classic Disney graphic tees, the Disney | Bobby Kim Collection 1: Classics offers wearable memories that connect generations through timeless storytelling.

The first piece from the collection, a long-sleeve Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey shirt inspired by a rare vintage find from Harajuku, Japan, debuts at the “Disney Style Around the World” panel during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on August 15, 2026. Online shoppers will get their first opportunity to purchase this collector’s piece during a special one-day release on DisneyStore.com on August 17, 2026, starting at 8 a.m. PST, while supplies last. Following the initial debut, a limited-release drop featuring six unique vintage-inspired tees will launch on DisneyStore.com on August 20, 2026, at 9 p.m. PST and run through Sunday, August 23, 2026.

“The Disney | Bobby Kim Collection celebrates the legacy of the Disney t-shirt itself,” said Bobby Kim, VP, Global Creative Director. “More than merchandise, Disney t-shirts have become keepsakes, wearable memories that connect generations through a shared love of storytelling, imagination, and nostalgia. The first shirt in the collection, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey t-shirt, is a true collector piece. I first spotted the shirt that inspired it in the window of a vintage shop in Harajuku and quickly learned just how rare and sought-after it was. It’s nostalgic, classically Disney and is one of my favorite vintage designs.”
