Gather round, wallet-weary theme park enthusiasts! It is that glorious time of year again when Universal Orlando Resort decides to bestow a whole six weeks of corporate affection upon its most loyal, caffeine-fueled fanbase. That’s right: Universal Orlando Passholder Days (officially Passholder Appreciation Days) are returning from August 15 through September 30, 2026.

Now, if you were hoping to attend the infamous Passholder Nights presented by Coca-Cola on August 15 or 16… well, I have some terrible news for your hopes and dreams. According to the official Universal Orlando Resort website, those free after-hours parties are at capacity and have been fully committed for quite some time. Meaning, if you didn’t snag a reservation the day they opened, your evening plans now consist of staring at the front gates from afar while crying into a refillable souvenir cup.

Fortunately, Universal Orlando Resort knows the fastest way to heal a broken heart (and a broken spirit) is through aggressive amounts of specialized carbohydrates. If we can’t ride coasters at 11:30 p.m., we can at least eat our feelings across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, and Universal CityWalk Orlando.

The Limited-Time Food Offerings: A Culinary Gauntlet

Spread of exclusive food items featured during Universal Orlando Passholder Days including pizza, pretzel, bowl, and cocktail.

For some of us, the real reason we renew our annual passes is the fleeting chance to eat exclusive food that won’t exist in two months. Here is the official breakdown of the limited-time menu items you will be wearing your “stretchy pants” for during Universal Orlando Passholder Days:

Universal Studios Florida

Prosciutto and arugula pizza served at Louie's Italian Restaurant for Universal Orlando Passholder Days.
  • Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza (Louie’s Italian Restaurant): Nothing says “authentic Italian cuisine in a Florida theme park” quite like tossing some fancy ham and bitter weeds on top of a pizza slice to pretend it’s health food. Also, do we really think the pizza is going to look like this from Louie’s?
  • The Tipsy Watermelon (Chez Alcatraz): A drink designed specifically to help you forget that you missed out on Passholder Night reservations.

Universal Islands of Adventure

Warm 3 Cheese Bavarian Pretzel with marinara dipping sauce available at Pizza Predattoria
  • 3 Cheese Bavarian Pretzel (Pizza Predattoria): Located right next to the raptors, because nothing prepares you to run from a Velociraptor like consuming three distinct forms of melted cheese infused into a massive knot of dough.

Universal Volcano Bay

Kahuna Bowl with seared meat, soft-boiled egg, and edamame served at Kohola Reef Restaurant during Universal Orlando Passholder Days.
  • Kahuna Bowl (Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club): Tropical, delicious, and fully capable of sinking you like a stone if you attempt the fearless drop on Ko’okiri Body Plunge five minutes after eating it.

Universal CityWalk (The Heavy Hitters)

pecialty milkshake, gourmet donut, and chicken and waffles offered during Universal Orlando Passholder Days at Universal CityWalk.
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion (The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen): A dessert that sounds less like a treat and more like a tactical hazard. Bring a squad of four to finish it.
  • Rocky Road Donut (Voodoo Doughnut): A sugar bomb so powerful it will power your walk back to the parking garage without relying on the moving walkways.
  • Huarache de Chorizo (Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food): Spicy, savory, and guaranteed to test the limits of your air-conditioned hotel room later that night.
  • Triangoletti alla Vodka (Vivo Italian Kitchen): Pasta shaped like triangles, bathed in vodka sauce, because geometry is always better with booze.
  • Island Fire Chicken and Waffles (Bob Marley-A Tribute to Freedom): Sweet, spicy, fried, and completely unbothered by nutritional guidelines.
  • Pork Dumplings (The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar): The perfect bite before going back to arguing over whether Cowfish is primarily a burger joint, a sushi bar, or offers the slowest service found anywhere. HINT: It is all three! (Psst…Universal Orlando Resort did not send out an official photo of the pork dumplings – please insert your own joke here!)

Universal Orlando Passholder Days: Additional Perks to Soften the Blow

If your stomach somehow survives the exclusive menu during Universal Orlando Passholder Days, Universal Orlando Resort is throwing a few more bones to passholders throughout the six-week extravaganza:

  • Merchandise Math: Spend $100 on merch, get a $15 Merchandise Credit. (Yes, you have to spend $100 to save $15. Don’t think about the math too hard, just buy the plushies.)
  • Exclusive Shopping: Be the first to buy the new Illuminated Globe Merchandise Collection at the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon or The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios.
  • Free Mystery Swag: A complimentary, limited-time specialty item will be available at the UOAP Lounge and The Tonight Shop (while supplies last). Universal Orlando Resort hasn’t said what it is yet, but we will absolutely wait in a 45-minute line for it regardless.
  • Extra AC Time: The UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon will stay open from park open to park close.
  • Hotel Savings: Up to 40% off select Universal Orlando hotels (Sunday–Thursday) including Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal Stella Nova Resort, Universal Terra Luna Resort, and Universal Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites. Plus, extra food perks at Signature Collection hotels.

Will we be trying some (or all) of the Universal Orlando Passholder Days food items? Perhaps? Will we miss the opening day of Universal Orlando Passholder Days since we are often “working” at Universal Orlando Resort in the first two weeks of August? Yes, absolutely, since we have plenty of theme park food to eat elsewhere!
