The holiday season in Central Florida is getting an extra dose of magic this year as Orlando World Center Marriott announces the return of its festive resort-wide event, “Twelve Nights of Wonder.” Running from December 20 through December 31, 2026, the resort property will transform into an immersive winter wonderland blending Orlando’s warm sunshine with classic seasonal charm. Guests can look forward to daytime pool activities at the famous Falls Pool, a bustling nightly village, dazzling fireworks shows, and world-class holiday dining.

The holiday magic begins the moment guests step into the grand lobby, starting the week before Thanksgiving with a towering, beautifully decorated Christmas tree that serves as a picture-perfect backdrop for family photos.

Throughout the 12-day Twelve Nights of Wonder celebration, daytime entertainment heats up around the Falls Pool with active family poolside events. Keep an eye out for Orlando World Center Marriott’s mascot, Mingo, who will be making special appearances all around the property dressed in a collection of dapper holiday outfits.

“We are thrilled to welcome families and travelers to experience the magic of the holiday season through our Twelve Nights of Wonder celebration,” said Robert Bray, general manager of Orlando World Center Marriott. ” Our team curated this immersive holiday escape a few years ago, and we continue to build on these events and experiences to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. By combining Orlando’s sunshine with classic winter charm, we look forward to helping our guests build lasting traditions and celebrate the season together.”

The Winter Wonderland Village & New Attractions

Each evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Falls Pool area undergoes a magical transformation into the Winter Wonderland Village, acting as the main hub for nighttime festivities. Groups can ride the classic train, enjoy live evening entertainment, and check out a brand-new addition for 2026: a classic carousel. Surrounding the central rides are several uniquely themed chalets hosting rotating activities each night:

  • The Village Library: Story time sessions filled with festive books and holiday tales.
  • The Snow Workshop: Interactive, hands-on craft activities designed for kids.
  • Mingo’s Ice Bar: A dedicated bar serving specialty signature drinks for adults and families.
  • Mrs. Sugarplum’s Sweets: Hand-crafted seasonal treats prepared fresh by the resort’s expert pastry team.

Twelve Nights of Wonder: Holiday Characters, Carolers & Nighttime Fireworks

Seasonal celebrations wouldn’t be complete without iconic holiday icons. Guests will have opportunities to meet and take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus on select dates throughout the event. Roaming carolers will also spread vocal cheer throughout the resort’s lobby and outdoor promenades. As night falls, the skies above the resort will light up with brilliant fireworks displays on December 26, 28, 30, and 31. Additionally, on December 26, guests can experience a special Mermaid and Glow Event, blending whimsical under-the-sea fantasy with vibrant, glowing poolside animations under the stars.
