Get your sweet tooth ready because a “creative collision” has officially arrived. Krispy Kreme has teamed up with Milk Bar and its founder, James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi, to launch a first-ever limited-time doughnut collection. Starting Tuesday, April 21, fans can experience three of Milk Bar’s most famous treats reimagined as doughnuts. This partnership combines Krispy Kreme’s signature glazes with Tosi’s bold, nostalgic flavors to create something truly unforgettable.

The Milk Bar Lineup
The Krispy Kreme Milk Bar collection features three distinct flavors that celebrate the “unapologetically craveable” spirit of both brands:
- Birthday Cake Doughnut: An Original Glazed cake doughnut swirled with birthday cake frosting, topped with cake crumbles and a shower of rainbow sprinkles.
- Milk Bar Pie Doughnut: Inspired by the cult-favorite dessert, this unglazed shell is filled with buttery pie filling, dipped in caramel icing, and rolled in an oat cookie topping with a dusting of powdered sugar.
- Compost Cookie Doughnut: The legendary cookie meets the Original Glazed. It’s dipped in cookie-flavored icing and topped with a salty-sweet crunch of chocolatey goodness and a caramel drizzle.
Krispy Kreme Milk Bar: A Dream Collaboration
The leaders behind both brands expressed excitement over the synergy of the Krispy Kreme Milk Bar partnership.
“Krispy Kreme and Milk Bar share a passion for turning familiar flavors into unforgettable experiences,” said Alison Holder, chief brand and product officer at Krispy Kreme. “Working alongside Christina Tosi to reimagine her most-loved creations as doughnuts has resulted in a collection that’s as bold and craveable as it is unique. We’re excited for fans to discover this one-of-a-kind collaboration.”
Christina Tosi echoed the sentiment, noting that the results exceeded her expectations.
“Krispy Kreme and Milk Bar coming together felt like a creative collision waiting to happen, but the reality was even bigger, bolder and more delicious than I dreamed,” said Tosi. “These doughnuts are wildly creative and delicious interpretations of our classic Milk Bar desserts, bringing all that nostalgia and flavor into an entirely new experience.”
Krispy Kreme Spring Seasonal Collection
Additionally, as the second of five seasonal drops this year, Krispy Kreme’s Spring Seasonal Collection was released earlier this month. This collection features two new flavors and two returning fan-favorites, for a limited time at Krispy Kreme shops across the U.S.:
- NEW: HERSHEY’S Double Chocolate Doughnut – an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in HERSHEY’S milk chocolate icing and topped with chocolate-flavored buttercream.
- NEW: Strawberries and Kreme Doughnut – an unglazed doughnut with two fillings in every bite, featuring strawberry filling and fluffy Kreme. The doughnut is dipped in bright strawberry icing and finished with swirls of vanilla-flavored icing.
- Banana Pudding Doughnut – an unglazed shell doughnut filled with banana pudding Kreme, dipped in vanilla-flavored icing, and topped with crushed wafer cookies and buttercream-flavored dollop.
- Original Glazed Blueberry Cake Doughnut – back by popular demand, featuring blueberry flavor and blueberry-flavored bits.
In addition to the Krispy Kreme Milk Bar Collection, doughnut lovers should also be aware that Voodoo Doughnut at Universal CityWalk Orlando will offer a special Cinco de Mayo doughnut. They will be selling a raised yeast shell doughnut filled with citrus jelly and topped with tequila-flavored icing, Miguelito spice, and a tangerine slice.
