Forget mini patties. The Red Robin Towering Double Cheeseburger Sliders feature double beef and double cheese on toasted King’s Hawaiian Rolls, stacked high.

Towering Double Cheeseburger Sliders

In a move that can only be described as a culinary coup d’état, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. has officially reached its breaking point with the “sad” state of modern sliders. For too long, the American public has been subjected to sliders that are small, thin, and frankly, a cry for help. On April 20, the rebellion begins.

Red Robin is leading the charge against the “mini patty” establishment by introducing the Towering Double Cheeseburger Sliders. “Some places serve sliders with mini patties and a morsel of cheese, but at Red Robin, we are redefining sliders,” said Brian Sullivan, executive chef and vice president of Culinary & Beverage Innovation of Red Robin. “Our sliders are bigger, juicier and unmistakably different, featuring double beef patties, double cheese and fan-favorite King’s Hawaiian® Rolls, served stacked on our iconic tower. It’s a bold new slider experience that’s turning heads and making guests say, ‘Wait, I want that!'”

Towering Double Cheeseburger Sliders: A Monumental Meat Stack

These sliders are essentially the high-rise apartments of the burger world. We aren’t talking about a single thin disc of meat; we are talking about four juicy double beef patties, totaling up to 12 ounces of fresh, never frozen beef. They are stacked so high on a vertical tower stand that they may require their own FAA flight clearance.

Hungry rebels can choose from two distinct ranks:

  • Towering Double Cheeseburger Sliders: The classic, featuring American cheese, onions, ketchup, and mustard on toasted King’s Hawaiian Rolls.
  • Towering Double Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders: For those who believe the only thing better than double beef is adding hardwood-smoked bacon crumbles to the chaos.

“At King’s Hawaiian, we’re passionate about bringing people together through irresistible recipes,” said Raouf Moussa, chief marketing officer of King’s Hawaiian. “We’re excited to pair our famous Sweet Rolls with Red Robin’s Towering Sliders. This collaboration brings together Red Robin’s iconic burgers and our fan-favorite rolls to create a truly memorable burger experience.”

The $20 Peace Treaty at Red Robin

Red Robin

To ensure the public embraces their new burger overlords, Red Robin is offering a one-day-only deal on April 20 that is almost suspiciously generous. For $20, diners can get the Sky-High Towering Trio, which includes the Slider Tower, a “Shorty” of Towering Onion Rings, and a “Shorty” of Cinnamon Sugar Doh! Rings.

It is a feast designed for those who want to indulge unapologetically and perhaps take a very long nap immediately afterward. If the meat-sweats get too intense, Red Robin suggests “riding the flavor wave” with a Kona Big Wave beer to wash down the rebellion.
