We headed to the West Side to try the Smoky Hummus and Pita at House of Blues. See why this happy hour staple makes a solid midday snack at Disney Springs.

Currently, there are 12 different weekday “happy hour” options at Disney Springs. Several of them involve food specials. One such place is House of Blues Orlando on the West Side of Disney Springs.
If you find yourself wandering the West Side of Disney Springs before 5:00 p.m on most weekdays, there is a soulful sanctuary waiting for you. While many guests flock elsewhere for a midday break, the House of Blues Restaurant & Bar offers one of the most consistent “happy hour” deals at Disney Springs.

From Monday through Thursday, from the moment they open (typically 11:30 a.m.) until 5 p.m., you can snag some of their most popular starters at a discount. It is the perfect excuse to duck out of the Florida sun and into the eclectic, folk-art-filled atmosphere to refuel quickly
During a recent visit to Disney Springs, we entered the House of Blues Orlando to try a happy hour option that we had not experienced before, the Smoky Hummus and Pita. All we knew was that they cost $10. The House of Blues Orlando’s happy hour menu lacks descriptions for each item.
Disney Springs Happy Hour: Smoky Hummus & Pita

While the happy hour menu features heavy hitters like Voodoo Nachos and BBQ ribs, the Smoky Hummus and Pita surprised us with its quality and extra components. This made an excellent light, yet flavorful, snack. Priced at just $10 during the happy hour window, it is a steal by many Walt Disney World standards.
The hummus itself lives up to the “House of Blues” name, leaning into those deep, wood-fired notes you’d expect from a smokehouse. It was creamy but carried a distinct charred undertone that set it apart from your standard grocery-store variety. Served alongside warm pita bread, it provides the perfect balance of salt and smoke.

While we expected those aspects, the cucumber salad served with the Smoked Hummus & Pita impressed our group. It was light. Additionally, it offered just enough flavor to satisfy those looking for a robust flavor, but not so much as to overwhelm the palate. Sure, we think the portion size is average at best. Still, for $10, this makes an ideal shareable plate if you’re grabbing a happy hour beverage or two at the House of Blues Orlando.
