Our Salt & Straw Disney Springs review covers the new Cereal-sly Delicious flavors, tasting notes, and whether they’re worth a scoop.

Salt & Straw’s Cereal-sly Delicious Series is a nostalgic, gourmet tribute to the Saturday mornings of our childhood. This annual fan-favorite collection reimagines iconic breakfast staples into sophisticated ice cream flavors, proving that cereal isn’t just for the bowl—it’s a culinary art form. By capturing the essence of “cereal milk,” Salt & Straw transforms sugary classics into high-end treats using their signature handmade base.
One standout is the Pots of Gold & Rainbows, where they painstakingly hand-sort thousands of marshmallows to steep into a cream that tastes exactly like the leftover milk in your bowl. Whether it’s the crunch of a caramelized cluster or the velvet texture of a cereal-infused custard, this series is a masterclass in texture and flavor memory. It’s more than just a sweet treat; it’s a whimsical trip down memory lane that reminds us why we fell in love with cereal in the first place.
Salt & Straw Disney Springs Location

We visited the Disney Springs location to try the two brand-new flavors for this year’s Cereal-sly Delicious Series. The latest additions to the brand’s “Cereal-sly Delicious” series, Concord Grape Nut Crumble and Captain’s Berried Treasure (vegan), are now scooping at the popular shop in Disney Springs. The other three limited-time offerings that returned for March 2026 at Salt & Straw Disney Springs are:

- Pots of Gold and Rainbows – Toasty, cereal-steeped ice cream tossed with hand-sorted, rainbow marshmallows; an especially perfect flavor to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
- Snap ‘N Crackle Marshmallow Treats – Rice Krispie marshmallow florentines crushed and scattered through salted vanilla ice cream
- Peanut Butter Brownie Cereal Puffs – Double-baked, Reese’s-coated peanut butter brownie puffs folded into peanut butter-marbled, milk chocolate ice cream
During this visit, we ordered a “Split Single Scoop” in order to taste both brand-new flavors. This costs $8.00. A single scoop with only one flavor costs $7.50. The double scoop costs $10.25
Concord Grape Nut Crumble

Description:
Concord grape juice frozen yogurt swirled with rich Grape Nut pudding and studded with toasted pecan Grape Nut crumble.
Our Salt & Straw Disney Springs Review
This one is unapologetically grape-forward. From the first bite, the Concord grape flavor leads the charge. It’s bright, fruity, and very berry-heavy — almost jam-like in intensity. If you love bold fruit flavors, this will be right up your alley.
The frozen yogurt base gives it a slight tang that balances the sweetness nicely. Meanwhile, the Grape Nuts act as tiny cookie-like texture bursts throughout the scoop. The toasted pecan crumble adds crunch and a lightly nutty finish that keeps things interesting.
Overall: A strong flavor with nostalgic cereal vibes and plenty of texture. If you’re looking for something fruity rather than ultra-creamy, this is a solid pick.
Captain’s Berried Treasure (Vegan)

Description:
Cereal-steeped coconut and oat milk swirled with fruity housemade “crunch berries.”
Our Salt & Straw Disney Springs Review
This plant-based option leans more toward sorbet territory than traditional ice cream. The cereal-steeped coconut and oat milk base delivers subtle sweetness, but the texture is noticeably lighter. Guests avoiding dairy will likely enjoy this refreshing option, especially on a warm Florida day.
The fruity “crunch berries” swirl provides pops of flavor and texture throughout, giving it that familiar cereal-inspired taste. However, guests accustomed to rich, creamy dairy ice cream may find this one less indulgent than other Salt & Straw offerings.
Overall: A solid vegan scoop that succeeds as a refreshing treat, though it won’t wow those seeking ultra-creaminess.

If you’re choosing between the two:
- Go with Concord Grape Nut Crumble if you love bold fruit flavor and crave texture.
- Choose Captain’s Berried Treasure if you’re dairy-free or prefer something lighter and refreshing.
Neither flavor is overly sweet, and both deliver on the nostalgic cereal theme. While the vegan option is enjoyable, the Concord Grape Nut Crumble stands out as the more memorable scoop overall. If you’re visiting Disney Springs soon, these limited-time flavors are worth trying before they disappear.
