Universal Destinations & Experiences has officially announced the return of Butterbeer Season, a global celebration of the iconic wizarding beverage. From limited-time treats like the brand-new Butterbeer Waffle to exclusive seasonal merchandise, there are more ways than ever to enjoy the flavors of butterscotch and shortbread. Whether you are visiting Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, or the all-new Ministry of Magic, here is everything you need to know about the 2026 Butterbeer Season festivities happening at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Beijing Resort.

This year’s celebration introduces several mouth-watering additions to the wizarding world menu. Highlighting the season is the debut of the Butterbeer Waffle, available for a limited time at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley.

Universal Orlando Resort is also expanding its confectionery lineup at Honeydukes and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop with the following: Butterbeer Cupcake, Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich, Butterbeer Candy Apple, and Butterbeer Shortbread Bar.

Biéraubeurre (Butterbeer) Crème Brûlée

At Universal Epic Universe, guests visiting the Ministry of Magic can indulge in a Biéraubeurre (Butterbeer) Crème Brûlée at Café L’air de la Siréne. Additionally, Butterbeer-flavored truffles and macarons will debut at the K. Rammelle confectionery shop, remaining as year-round staples.

Butterbeer Cream Puff
  • Universal Studios Hollywood: The fan-favorite Butterbeer Cream Puff returns to the West Coast.
  • At Universal Beijing Resort: Guests can enjoy the Butterbeer Cream Puff and shop for a limited-edition, collectible Harry Potter 25 Years of Magic Butterbeer Stein.
  • Universal Studios Japan: For the first time ever, the park will offer a limited-time Butterbeer Cream Puff and exclusive merchandise at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
