Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is preparing to flip the switch on its lively Mardi Gras celebration, bringing a splash of New Orleans flavor to Tampa Bay this winter and early spring. From Cajun cuisine and handcrafted cocktails to parades, beads, and live entertainment, this seasonal event offers guests a festive reason to visit the park beyond thrilling rides and animal experiences.

Mardi Gras at Busch Gardens is included with regular park admission and runs on weekends from January 24 through March 1, 2026, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the celebration. Additionally, the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay website indicated (a few days ago) that the event started on January 23. However, that has been changed to Saturday the 24th. However, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay passmembers received an email indicating an exclusive preview before the general guests on Friday, Jan. 23! So, we will wait and see.
