Norwegian Luna Entertainment sets a new standard. Discover the “Rocket Man” Elton John tribute, the groundbreaking “HIKO” mixed reality show, and new adult nightlife.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is turning up the volume on its newest vessel. The cruise line announced the entertainment lineup for Norwegian Luna, set to debut in March 2026. It will be headlined by a massive tribute to one of music’s greatest icons. From a high-energy celebration of Elton John to a mixed-reality sci-fi circus, NCL is pivoting toward immersive, headline-worthy programming designed to compete with the best shows on land.
Rocket Man: A Celebration of Elton John, Norwegian Luna Entertainment

The centerpiece of the Norwegian Luna entertainment offering is “Rocket Man: A Celebration of Elton John.” This isn’t just a cover band; it is an entirely produced, concert-style experience developed by NCL’s award-winning Creative Studios.
Featuring elements from the EGOT winner’s personal archives, the show will include timeless hits like “Tiny Dancer,” “Bennie and the Jets,” and, of course, “Rocket Man.” The production promises powerhouse vocals, fashion-forward costumes, and a set design featuring four grand pianos. The creative team behind the show boasts credits ranging from the Super Bowl Halftime Show to Cirque du Soleil.
Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., expressed his personal excitement for the project:
“As a lifelong music fan, I’m especially excited to celebrate the work of Elton John, an icon whose influence spans generations, with a show that is as dynamic and unforgettable as the artist himself.”
HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder

NCL is also leaning heavily into technology with “HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder.” This original sci-fi production blends 3D mapping and mixed reality visuals with high-flying Cirque artistry. Set in a futuristic world, the show features a new original character, HIKO, whom guests can actually meet and interact with around the ship—a first for Norwegian Cruise Entertainment. The show utilizes four elite gymnasts (the most ever in an NCL production) performing against a backdrop of multi-sensory video projections.
Nightlife Reimagined: The Eagles and LunaTique
The party continues after hours with several new concepts for adults and rock fans:
- Syd Norman’s Presents: A Tribute to Eagles: The popular “Syd Norman’s Pour House” venue returns with a brand-new show dedicated to the classic rock anthems of the Eagles. The venue itself is getting an upgrade, featuring a ’90s throwback set and Live Band Karaoke.
- LunaTique: Exclusive to guests aged 21 and over, this production takes place in The Improv at Sea. Described as a “daring new party experience,” it reimagines classic circus archetypes with a neon, pop-infused edge. Notably, the costumes are designed by the duo known for their work with pop sensation Chappell Roan.
- The Luna Theater & Club: This three-story venue will transform into a Vegas-style nightclub hosting the “Norwegian Luna Eclipse Party” and “Planetdisco,” a retro-throwback dance event.
Norwegian Luna Entertainment: Family Fun and Inaugural Season
For families, Norwegian Cruise Entertainment is also introducing “Sea of Discovery! An Under-the-Sea Festival.“ This interactive experience is designed like a nostalgic field day. It features glow games and an adventure led by an inquisitive fish character.
Norwegian Luna will kick off her inaugural season in April 2026 with seven-day Caribbean voyages from Miami, visiting destinations like Roatan, Cozumel, and Harvest Caye. In 2027, the ship will shift to New York City for voyages to Bermuda.
Beginning in April 2026, Norwegian Luna will sail seven-day voyages featuring calls to the Western Caribbean destinations of Roatan, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, Belize, the Brand’s resort-style destination. Norwegian Luna will also offer seven-day itineraries with calls to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas, which will soon debut a nearly six-acre Great Tides Waterpark with 19 waterslides, cliffside jumps and a dynamic river, as well as new swim-up bars, a heated pool and expanded cabanas.
From April 2027 through October 2027, Norwegian Luna will offer guests four and seven-day round-trip itineraries to Bermuda from New York. With more time in port and overnight stays in Bermuda, guests can experience coastal adventures on pink sandy beaches and sea activities including catamaran boat rides, cave dives and sunset cruises.
