Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Christmas Town has once again rolled out a wide selection of limited-time holiday bites, and one of the more intriguing offerings this year is the Toasted Pumpkin Ravioli. Found at Cabin 6 – Caroler’s Table, this seasonal dish promises a cozy holiday flavor profile wrapped in theme-park creativity.
What is Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay?

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s Christmas Town is an immersive, award-winning holiday event featuring millions of dazzling lights and festive entertainment. Running on select dates from mid-November through early January, the park transforms into a spectacular winter wonderland.
Highlights include meeting Santa and classic characters like Rudolph and Bumble. Also, there is the spectacular Christmas on Ice show, and the family-friendly Holly Jolly Express train ride. Guests can enjoy thrilling coasters under the glowing lights, indulge in seasonal treats and holiday drinks, and stroll through themed light tunnels for unique photo opportunities. It’s a full-park celebration blending holiday cheer with theme park excitement.

Toasted Pumpkin Ravioli at Christmas Town

The Toasted Pumpkin Ravioli is exactly what the name implies, pumpkin-filled ravioli lightly toasted to a golden crisp. Each serving includes three ravioli for $10, though guests using a Christmas Town Sampler Lanyard can drop that cost to $7 or less, making it a far better value for festival sampling. The pasta comes with a rich brown butter cream sauce, finished with sage and a light sprinkle of parmesan, giving it a clear position on the savory side of the holiday menu.
Toasted Pumpkin Ravioli: Our Tasting Experience

Going in, some in our group expected something leaning toward the classic “pumpkin spice” flavor profile, warm cinnamon, sweet notes, and dessert-adjacent aromas. This dish is not that. Instead, it leans full of savory flavors, with herb-forward tones and the nuttiness of brown butter tying everything together. For some guests, that may come as a surprise.
The filling itself is flavorful and appropriately seasonal, and while the overall taste works well for a holiday event, reactions varied among our group. A few found the savory approach a bit off-putting given the pumpkin branding. Others appreciated that this wasn’t just another sweet holiday treat.
We did find the ravioli more difficult to cut than expected. The toasted exterior gives it a nice crunch but also increases the effort required to break into each piece. Still, its unique approach and the fact that it’s not easily replicated at home add to its value as a festival specialty.
Overall Thoughts
Like many of the dishes we tried during Christmas Town’s opening weekend, the Toasted Pumpkin Ravioli landed firmly in the category of good but not spectacular. The flavors are appropriate, the presentation fits right into the holiday atmosphere, and using a sampler lanyard helps bring the price to a much more comfortable range.
However, guests expecting a sweeter pumpkin experience may want to skip this one, especially if savory pumpkin dishes aren’t their thing. For adventurous holiday eaters or fans of seasonal ravioli, this is a creative option worth trying. Just know what flavor profile you’re signing up for. Would we race to get this again? No! Would we be upset if someone in our theme park group wanted to try this and share? Nope! We found most of the Christmas Town dishes fit this category of quality.
